You could have:

- The brand of “logic = repressing emotionally expression” we see originally in TOS

- “It is only logical to understand and handle feelings (in private) because repression only leads to outbursts and illogical behavior” which is pretty popular in fics imo

- “It is only logical to be open about one’s feelings (in a responsible + restrained manner) so that the whole may better work to meet the needs of each individual of the whole”

“X is shorted to Y because it’s easier to type out” is less hostile and therefore more helpful than “Gee I wonder why X would be written as Y you dumbfuck idiot”
