Someone hacked into and deleted my Tumblr while I was using it. All of my posts gained red text and the letters swirled around like a tornado before being scattered off screen. Presumably for others to use in their text posts

Have you ever lost acting work due to video essays, podcasts or stuff you said on socials?

Would you self-censor on issues of life and death if you knew that speaking frankly might cost you a gig you wanted?

I know for a fact that I've lost some live speaking gigs because I'm vocally pro-Palestine: the organisers of a few events have told me that directly. I don't know about acting but I wouldn't be surprised; I know I've missed out on a few acting gigs for being trans. I like to think I'd keep doing the right thing even if it'd cost me but I guess we can't really know until we're tested?

I will say, one of the hardest things about being an actress is knowing which men in the industry are rapists and not being able to say anything publicly cause it would ruin both your own life and their victims' lives. That sucks.

we make fun of the '96 yellowjackets for letting lottie make all their decisions for them but it's been so long since s1 i think we forgot about the bear. like if i woke up from a nonconsensual group hallucinatory drug trip with the knowledge that winter is coming and we're most likely gonna freeze and starve to death and then the girl who'd earlier started rapidly speaking a language she wasn't fluent in walked outside and a fucking bear came out of the woods and kneeled before her and she killed it with a knife then YEAH i think i would be doing whatever the hell she wanted
