2 subjects I never talk about: my mom and my inability to be a mom. More than MS, more than anything, these are the subjects that are the most painful for me. 😢After a few years, I finally found the strength to go visit my mom in her nursing home. I needed Tommy to go with me and we thought that she would like meeting Otis. He decided to just make himself right at home and crawled into bed with her! She’s always loved animals and didn’t mind at all and reminded me that her father had a German Shepherd too! 😂 Otis always finds a way to make everything easier, even the things that frighten me. He makes every day so much better just by being him. I’m so thankful that I have him and that I get to see all of his silly antics, his goofy face, and his love. 🙏I’m also grateful for a husband that understands, and that can forgive and be with me every time I need him. He tells me all the time that I’m the strongest person he’s ever known and that makes me want to continue proving him right. 💪 Mother’s Day and Father’s Day may be incredibly difficult for us, but we have each other and we have Otis. I’m so lucky to have the OG Virginia in my life. I need to go check on my Grandparents before I head to the Arkansas show tomorrow.. My Grandma is an Orginal Gangster. She survived so much oppression and she lived so rich, rich with love she would say. As I’m sure all your Grandmas did too 💕 I miss her already and she’s still here. I can’t believe the things she’s overcome. She always told me to be happy and as long as I was happy she was happy. And SCREW everybody, “They’re Just Jealous” 😂 Does everybody’s Grandma say that 🤩.
