Well, I have been away for a long period of time: since then the British have taken over the cycling world. It has started with Froome‘s GT hattrick, then came the amazing Geraint Thomas at the Tour de France and in the end, there was Simon Yates, who has taken the Vuelta!
We have to go back to 2008 to find a nation, which could dominate all three Grand Tours: back then Contador took the Giro, Sastre has taken the Tour de France, and Contador has done the double with the Vuelta.
You simply can’t hate this team! Amazing teamwork by Michelton today, resulting in a stage win and the maglia rosa! Hopefully letting Chavito win won’t backfire!
Big respect for Phillipe Gilbert posting this picture on this important day and shouting out for an equal sport. Equality between women and men should exist anytime and anywhere! something has to change with the motorbike rules during races, the road is fully packed, where they race during the classics, the roads are really narrow, we can’t let this happen again!
