Giant grabbing the tiny in their sleep and hugs them like a plushie

Like I can't sleep without hugging something. Wether its a pillow or a plushie and all I can think about is a giant that does the same but accidently grabs the tiny instead

Its even funnier if the tiny and giant aren't friends yet

The giant is just having a nice dream and meanwhile the tiny is about to shit themselves

Hey so little known fact: consent is like, super sexy :)

like, ESPECIALLY in gt, where the power strays SOO far in the giants favor, the simple act of making sure your partner is on board with the entire process (including little quips and checkups throughout the process) can make a world of difference.

this applies to the world outside of spice too!

g/t parental/familial/adjacent angst that gets rattled around my brain whenever I'm shaken like a maraca

All of these are tiny child/offspring/ward and giant guardian

• tiny young person/child starting to think of a giant as a parental figure but the feeling is unrequited because even if they care about the tiny, they don't truly see them as equal enough to consider them their kid

• similar to the previous, except it is reciprocated and the tiny and giant have had an established familial relationship for awhile but the giant guardian deep down wants a "normal" child who can be held properly without (as severe of) fear of crushing them and who will probably become noticeably less dependent on them over time. And the distance that starts growing between them when the giant gets a child their own size

• similar to the first one in a different way, a group of kids/young people found by a giant who has a soft spot for kids but it doesn't apply to this group because the giant dislikes the smaller species so the giant treats them not necessarily cruelly outright but rougher and more dismissive than they would anyone the group's age that was big too

• a kid who's tiny and therefore needs extra help or support but their giant parent is in denial about it and dismisses the tiny's insistence that they need said support. Especially if they have a sibling whose needs are acknowledged (whether tiny like them or big like the parent) and the tiny kid is almost always expected to care for or compromise for the other sibling's convenience

• kid who is neglected and/or the least favorite is shrunk and the rest of the family has to not only take extra care of them but as a result acknowledge the way they treated them previously because they can't ignore their needs right now without too high of a risk and the difference between now and their previous treatment is sooo obvious

ALRIGHT so Sizeshifters right? We all know em we all love them! I mean who wouldn’t?!? They can be a giant or a tiny whenever you need them to be. BUT WAIT! What about the emotional ones? The ones whose shift based on their emotions? Yeah they’re classic too and we love them just as much. But what if there were other reasons that cause sizeshifters to shift?

Hear me out, a sizeshifter whose size fully depends on what they ate the other day. I don’t mean in the basic sense of if they ate a lot they big and if they ate a little they small, no no. I mean like some foods make them shrink and other foods make the grow. Like You just find them eating a whole bunch of nuts and they just go “nuts make me shrink and I’m trying to avoid going to work tomorrow cause I just don’t want to man” or they start chugging water cause “water it the only thing that balances my size to normal and if I’m not normal sized tomorrow I’m sooooo fucked” etc etc. They try to eat the things they have before cause they know how it effects them the next day, but everyday they are tempted to try that new restaurant but they really don’t want to roll the dice on their height the next day man.

Or what about a sizeshifter whose size is affected by weather? Sunny day? Oh nice normal height! Clouds start rolling in? Uh oh now they’re shrinking. Rain? They’re smaller! Thunderstorm?!? Whelp they’re hella small, and they’re hoping a tornado doesn’t form because that would be actually more terrifying than anything. Snow though? Oh look they get bigger? More snow?!? Even bigger! Full on blizzard?!? People start leaving their cold homes to hide in the now giant’s pockets cause they are way warmer and very spacious at this point. My dude probably has his heads in the clouds…literally!! People eventually just keep tabs on the shifter to see what the weather is like. Clouds forming ahead? Alright are they shrinking or growing cause then they’ll know if it’s rain or snow.

What about a sizeshifter whose size depends on the animal they last seen/interacted with. Yeah usually they’re human sized cause that’s the one they usually see but suddenly touching a dog? Boom now they the height of that dog. A spider decides to crawl onto their back? Boom! They got the same spider problem but now it’s way more serious. They go out to sea and get to touch a whale? Whelp looks like they’re swimming back to shore with a rope tethered to them just in case they bump into a smaller fish and they can’t fit on the boat at the moment.

We always go to emotion for sizeshifter who can’t control their ability and it’s a beautiful classic but just what if there were sizeshifter who had the same problem but just different reason? I think it’d be neat to have so many variations!
