About Kristers Gudlevskis, that Latvian backup goalie who nearly deep-sixed Team Canada...
Kristers Gudlevskis, 21, was single-handedly responsible for giving the entire nation of Canada a coronary at the Olympics today. That kid was drafted in the 5th round by the Tampa Bay Lightning this year. He's playing for their AHL affiliate right now. Seems like his numbers are a bit all over the place but he may be starting to hit his stride -- he was AHL Player of the Week in mid-January. Today's game was pretty OK too.
