Many eons ago in the sacred garden of Eden there was a man and his wife.
Their names were Eve and Adam and they loved each other more than words could say.
Every second of every day was spent by each other’s side as they leisurely went about the garden.

Which would come to be her greatest downfall.
For when she had bit into the apple she not only inevitably caused evil to walk upon the Earth when breaking the one rule she was given she had caused evil to enter herself. The apple did bring her knowledge but it was in no way good.

When she was cast out from her home for breaking the rule, and forced to live in a world cold and cruel, completely devoid of the warmth the garden provided she wasn’t alone.
Her husband had chosen to stay by her side, and soothe her fears as he chased away those unwanted thoughts.
He was her anchor, her rock, without him she wouldn’t have lasted in that world.
And so she made a promise to him. That she would always protect and care for him, to do the same as he did for her.
That was a promise that she swore with her soul.
