Today in the theater class I teach we were playing party quirks (game where the kids pretend to have a silly trait or be a character) and one of the 5 year olds was Knuckles the Echidna and the guesser asked him "what kind of clothes do you like to wear" and this little just goes Guns.

I literally broke down laughing man what the fuck does that mean. Knuckles doesn't even have guns.

ok on one hand i understand that disarming the public while keeping the violent police dangerously armed is an awful idea and that perhaps the people need guns to fight back, and yet on the other hand. do violent white men really deserve to own guns anymore? like, perhaps if we didn’t have like a big shooting every couple of months i’d be more on board with the whole “lololol liberal gun control BAD” movement but i just can’t bring myself to say that when literal children have died because we’ve decided that guns were more important than them not dying.

idk does anyone have a good take on this beyond “ONLY POLICE AND THE MILITARY SHOULD HAVE GUNS” or “LITERALLY EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE GUNS”? anything that won’t leave an awful taste in my mouth? who knows
