Lucas: Hey guys! How was the trip?
Gunther: Awful. My motion sickness doesn’t play nice with rides longer than an hour.
Mila: He says that as if he was the one driving.
Bluma vibrates with joy
Gunther: And well, Bluma wouldn’t stop asking when we’d get there.
Bluma: Hi Uncle Lucas!!!
Lucas: Look who came all the way out here to see her favorite uncle!
Gunther: I don’t think she has favorites. She’s way too objective for that.
Bluma: Uncle Lucas, you smell like trees. Why do you smell like trees?
Lucas: Because I eat one every morning. Without fail.
Mila: Adorable…
Mila: Speaking of, how about some cheesecake brownies?
Gunther: Anyway, like I was saying, I really wanna move out that creepy house.
Lucas: Why not move out around here? I’d get to see my nephews every day, Lilith could pretend she’s closer to the sun without dying, and you could adopt a llama.
Gunther: That sounds disgusting.
Lucas: Yeeeah okay, now that I say it out loud, adopting a llama doesn’t sound that great. They’re kinda emotionally constipated.
Mila: that's right. One of them gave your grandpa the stink eye once.
Lucas: Ah, I missed your cooking. Honestly, eating trees isn’t that far from the truth. I’m a terrible cook.
Mila: I know, darling. I know.
Mila: But hey, maybe you’ll meet someone who is amazing in the kitchen.
Lucas: Mom…
Lucas: I had to use my whole spirit strenght to make friends, and you expect me to just randomly find a boyfriend?
Mila: I don’t expect you to have a boyfriend, I’m just saying.
Lucas: When I meet someone like that, you’ll be the first to know.
Bluma: What are they talking about?
Gunther: Stuff that has absolutely no relevance to your tiny little kid self.
Lucas: And honestly… I don’t know. I don’t think I’m any good at all this love stuff.
Mila: honey… no one’s good at love. Not even married couples, especially married couples.
Gunther: I don’t know, I feel like I’m pretty good at it.
Lucas: Seriously?
Gunther: No, Lucas. I suck. But Lilith loves me anyway, that's the thing.
Gunther: I know meeting new people is scary. And I don’t just mean romantically.
Gunther: But we’re built for change. And if you meet someone who isn’t good for you? That’s what happens— change.
Mila: Yeah… you’re absolutely right.
Lucas: See? Terrifying.
Gunther: yeah well, not even death can stop us from changing-
Bluma snores
Mila: Looks like little Munch used up all her energy bouncing around in the car.
Gunther: She doesn’t sleep too well at home, Garry’s in that terrifying age where climbing onto the roof and hunting pigeons is just… a daily thing now.
Lucas: Oh- OH!!! What if she stays here with me? I’m sure she’d love to spend the weekend on the farm.
Mila: That’s a fantastic idea!
Gunther: I don’t know…
Mila: Oh, come on Gunthy.
Gunther: Bluma’s pretty calm overall, but taking care of a kid’s not exactly easy, you know?
Lucas: I know her little games and weird questions, don’t worry. She’ll be fine. Piece of cake!
Gunther: Look, I’m one call away. And by I, I mean Lilith is.
Lucas: Pieeece of cake!
