Next up is a mix between Glomp and Gurggle!

It's a fusion of the two long-legged leaders of Glorp Corp! So, naturally, this mix combines their leg heights. My initial idea behind this one was that his legs were just really long boogers coming out of his chin nose. However, that wasn't coming across really well, so I didn't go in that direction. The Lego version of this mix is pretty messy in general, so I'm glad I was able to make it more appealing in the cartoon version!

MF Day #47: Gurggle

Here’s the last of the additional group for an existing tribe: The Glorp Corp. I think it was a smart move that the LEGO group decided to make cousin tribes for three of the most common and recognizable elements, because it they lots of possibilities for different mixel designs. And while I don’t think the Glorp Corp cousins are quite as strong as the original tribe, they’re still a very solid and fun looking group of mixels.

Gurggle fits in pretty well into the theme with his slime-coated legs and feet; undoubtably leaving a bit of a mess wherever he walks. And his hotheaded personality is a nice addition that could lead to some funny ranting about whatever he tries to do with his gooey legs.

I’ve heard how he’s been compared to a previous Glorp Corp member Glomp, mainly due to their same height, and how Gurggle feels too similar to Glomp. And while I do slightly prefer Glomp over Gurggle, I see these two as their own mixels. For they have just enough differences and looks in their designs to stand out from each other despite their similar height.
