nobody can ever say no to magical queer princesses. i mean, it’s amazing. and perf.
I want one to be bisexual for sure and I don't want sexuality to even be a deal. Like at no point does anyone say anything like, "But you are two women," and never is that a reason for why the father wants to get rid of the princess (he's more afraid of someone taking his position of power and paranoid that she'll kill him to rule).
Because no. That's normal in this universe. No one gives a frickle frackle about any of this stuff.
And I want The Prophet (who's super important to the story) to be trans* and just fuck the bigots and assholes and whatever-ists of this world. They don't exist in this fantasy world.
And I just want this beautiful, queer fantasy novel.

it’s litterally everything that i want in life
It's a Kurtbastian fic that I'm doing and want to finish because it's for a Kurtbastian fic, but then I think I might work on adapting it into an original work. How can anyone say no to magical queer princess warriors?

2: White, milk, or dark chocolate mocha? milk
3: If you could get a Sharpie tattoo on your back, what would it be? DRAGON
4: Did you grow up in a small or big town? Did you like it? big town i suppose, and there's nothing too bad about it, but i kind of wish i grew up in a city because there's so much more to do, and i don't like the idea of very small towns
5: Your favorite adult as a child? (and not your parents, if they were your favorite) Mr. Rogers, Indiana Jones, my 4th grade teacher, Superman, Batman, and Ariel from the Little Mermaid (though technically she's only 16). Also Aladdin
6: What kind of smoothie sounds really good right now? Mango
7: Most embarrassing moment from your elementary school years? The time I almost threw up on a girl in class

12: Did you like swinging as a child? Do you still get excited when you see a swing set? Yes, and yes
13: If you could have any pet in the world, illegal or not, what would you get? Dragon? if i can't get a dragon (not a lizard. like, you know, fire-breathing dracarys style dragons) then a red panda, a puppy, or a horse
14: What's your most favorite part of your body? My hands or my brain
15: What's your most favorite part of your personality? I guess how imaginative I am? I don't like much about me, so let's go with my selflessness. Like, it's a serious problem

19: What's the most delicious food you've ever eaten in your life? MOZZERELLA STICKS, possibly restaurant pancakes. or pizza
20: Margarine or butter? Which did you grow up with? I've never had either, if you can believe me. It wasn't appealing to me as a kid, and it's not that appealing to me now
21: Whole, skim, 1%, or 2% milk? (Did you know they make 1 1/2% milk?) 2% (and no i did not know that)
22: Which continents have you been on? North America. that's it...
23: Do you get motion sickness? Any horror stories? I don't see what those two questions have to do with each other... and i only get motion sick when i'm in the back of the car. if you're asking for a motion-sickness based horror story, none
24: Backpacks or satchels? I've never used a satchel

Aaaah, stop it. ;~; <3
But I'm glad that you liked it! I know it was kinda short, but I need to work on my big bang fic because that needs to be done by the end of March, and I'm only 14,000 words in.

crying forever because you actually wrote it and i love it
Just for you. Seriously, though, why because it was so weird to write and get their dynamic right while keeping it historically accurate and using 50's slang.
Summary: 50's AU with carhop!Kurt and greaser!Sebastian
Author's Note: For Isa. Okay, this was really hard to write, actually, and it's not even that great, but I had to do it. Unbeta'd.
Kurt doesn’t exactly like working at Cozy’s Drive-In, but he needs the money. Finn decides to help out at Hummel Tires & Lube, and Kurt’s never much liked getting his hands dirty, even if Burt insists that he’s good at it. At least the uniform isn’t half-bad – especially compared to the grease-stained overalls he’d otherwise have to wear – and he’s steady on his feet, so the roller skates don’t bother him.
“Here’s your order,” Kurt says, lowering the tray so that the boy can grab the hamburger, fries, and chocolate shake from it. He takes the money and pockets it.
“Don’t ya like my car?” the boy asks, and Kurt sighs.
“It’s lovely,” he deadpans, trying to sound disinterested. Even though he’s never seen anyone with a car that nice in Lima, he knows the type – the rich-show-off. The boy’s blazer – probably part of a school uniform – is slung over the other seat, and Kurt goes to turn around, when the boy speaks again.
“It’s a Cadillac.”
“Eldorado, yeah, I know. ’55.”
“Impressive. Don’t seem like the type to like cars,” the boy says.
“My father’s a mechanic. I have to go get someone else’s order,” he says, trying to end the conversation, but the boy speaks again.
“I’m Sebastian by the way.”
“Look good in the uniform, by the way.” Kurt freezes and turns around. Sebastian winks at him.
“I have a boyfriend,” Kurt says under his breath, though it’s not true. Blaine broke up with him two weeks ago with “I can’t. I think they’re catching on” as the only explanation. He’s sure his face is red, and he suddenly feels self-conscious as he flattens his apron and turns around for the third time.
“Catch like you? Of course you do. But if you want to play some backseat bingo…”
Kurt wrinkles his nose in disgust, and he sees Rachel skate over to him.
“You’re going to get in trouble, Kurt,” she says, throwing a glance over at Sebastian.
“I was just about to leave,” he says, but Rachel grabs his arm and leans in.
“I know Blaine left you and it’s hard, but he’s probably not… like you.” She’s never been good at whispering, and Kurt watches as Sebastian’s face breaks into a smile. Rachel pats him on the shoulder and skates off. Kurt watches with a clenched jaw.
“So much for that boyfriend,” Sebastian says. “You know, that offer is still valid either way.”
“No amount of pomade is going to get me into that flat-top with you,” Kurt says and skates away.
-- -- -- --
The next time he sees Sebastian is two weeks later. He almost turns around and asks Rachel or Santana to give him his food, but he knows that Santana won’t let him hear the end of it if he does, and Rachel will just lecture him. He makes his way over to the Cadillac with a frown.
“What are you doing here?” Kurt asks.
“I just needed to refuel,” Sebastian says, taking the food from Kurt and grinning.
“You don’t go to Lima High.”
“Dalton Academy, actually.”
“Isn’t that over in Westerville?”
Sebastian nods as he takes a sip from his shake, and Kurt can’t help but wonder what Sebastian is doing here. As if hearing the question, Sebastian answers. “We don’t have drive-ins in Westerville yet.”
“You drove all the way to Lima to go to a drive-in?”
Sebastian shrugs, and Kurt turns around. “Nice ass, by the way.”
Kurt skates off without another word.
-- -- -- --
“He’s not bad, you know,” Rachel says. “He may be a bit… forward, but he’s not bad.”
“Listen, Berry, Hummel here is still probably writing ballads to Anderson in his notebook,” Santana says, and crosses her arms over her chest. “Coach Sylvester won’t be happy if I’m late to Cheerio’s practice again.”
She walks away, and Rachel turns back to Kurt. “What’s wrong with Sebastian?”
“He’s irritating.”
“He’s not,” Rachel says.
“You haven’t even met him.”
“Once!” she says, and she clutches her books to her chest as they walk down the hall. She stops at her locker to pull out the rest of her books, but she seems to sense that trying to convince Kurt of anything is a lost cause because she changes the subject. “Do you like my skirt?”
Kurt looks down and relaxes, a smile pulling up on his lips. “How many poodle skirts do you own?”
“Three in pink but they’re in different shades and two in blue. This one’s lavender.” She twirls around, and Kurt laughs.
“I can see that.”
“But do you like it?” Rachel asks.
Kurt nods his head, but his smile falters as he sees Blaine walk by, holding hands with Sally. Blaine catches his eye and flushes, his eyes going wide and apologetic.
“You know he’s miserable,” Rachel says. “He just has to do it for his parents.”
“Doesn’t make it any easier,” Kurt says.
“Well, I think you should give that guy at Cozy’s a chance if he comes around again,” she says.
“We’re not discussing this, Rach,” Kurt says. “He’s a punk.”
“Tell me you don’t find him attractive.” She moves in front of Kurt and looks him in the eyes. Kurt grimaces and drops his gaze, stepping around her.
“He’s not hideous.”
Rachel lets out a sound of triumph, and she looks smugly at Kurt. “See, that’s something. Besides, how many other guys… like you are you going to find in Lima, Ohio.”
“He lives in Westerville.”
“Well, he has a car.”
“We’re not discussing this.”
“You two can go on joyrides and sneak away behind corners and make out.” She sighs, and her eyes become glassy as she leans against the wall. “That sounds romantic.”
“If you love him so much, why don’t you go out with him?”
-- -- -- --
The next time he sees Sebastian, he’s just finished with his shift. Sebastian isn’t in his school outfit. He’s wearing a white shirt, a leather jacket, jeans, and sunglasses, and his hair is all slicked back except for one curl. When he sees Kurt leaving, he pulls out of his place and up next to Kurt on the sidewalk. “Done with your shift?” Kurt can feel Sebastian’s eyes running down him now that he’s not in his carhop uniform either.
“So, this is the babe Berry won’t shut up about,” Santana says next to him. “Not bad.”
“You’ve been talking about me?” Sebastian says, looking pleased.
“They’ve been talking about you. I’ve been trying to ignore them,” Kurt says, looking at the sidewalk in front of him and away from Sebastian.
“How about a ride home?”
“I ride home with Rachel and Santana after work,” Kurt says, but Rachel just grabs Santana’s wrist and tugs her forward. The two of them go running off, and Kurt throws a glare at Sebastian before chasing after them.
“If you two leave me here!” he yells after them, but they quickly unlock the door, get in, and Santana drives off. “You’ll thank me later,” Santana calls out of the window.
“Looks like your ride left without you,” Sebastian says.
Kurt thinks about walking home. He lives on the other edge of town, and his shoulders slump forward. “Fine.”
“Hop in.”
Kurt gets in reluctantly, and no sooner has he buckled in then does Sebastian start driving. “I’m taking you out to a diner.”
“I’m not hungry,” he protests, but his stomach gives an ill-timed growl.
“So, tell me about yourself, babe,” Sebastian says.
“Do I have to?”
“We could just sit in silence for the next hour while you eat and I drive you home, but I’d prefer to talk.” Kurt’s just about to say that it’s probably the nicest thing Sebastian’s said so far when Sebastian adds, “Besides, it gives me an excuse to stare at that pretty mouth of yours.”
“You’re horrible.”
“Let’s start with the basics, then. What do you want to do after high school?”
Kurt debates not answering. He looks down into his lap and pulls at the cuffs of his sleeves before saying something. “New York.”
“Let me guess – Broadway.”
“Between that or working for a fashion magazine.” He shrugs his shoulders. “I want to go to Paris.”
“Paris is beautiful.”
“You’ve been” Kurt turns to look at him with wide eyes. Judging by the car, Sebastian has money, but he isn’t expecting to hear that. “What’s it like?”
“It’s nice. I preferred London, though.”
“How can you prefer London to Paris?” Kurt asks crossing his arms over his chest. “Paris is the fashion capital. Did you see Christian Dior’s New Look? What I’d give to meet him some day… I just want to get out of this Nowheresville one day.”
“That makes two of us.”
“So, have you been to New York?” Sebastian turns into the diner and parks. He reaches up and fixes his hair and unbuckles before turning in his seat to face Kurt.
“Once. It was years ago.” He has to admit, Sebastian is decently attractive. He notices a few freckles on his cheeks, and he clears his throat before unbuckling and getting out of the car. His voice hardens before he adds, “And you’re taking me back to my house after this.”
“Absolutely.” Sebastian smirks at him before trailing his eyes down to Kurt’s ass. Kurt’s cheeks heat up, and he turns around, lifting Sebastian’s chin up with his index finger. “My eyes are here,” he says.
“Cool it, kid.” Sebastian rolls his eyes. “Besides, can you blame me for staring?”
“Why are you so persistent? Why are you doing this?” Kurt asked, gesturing around.
“Because you’re hot and I’m hot, and it’d be a shame to waste and opportunity like that.”
“How can you be so open?” Kurt asks, and he looks around as if expecting to see someone from his school nearby. “Aren’t you afraid you’ll get in trouble?”
“My parents have enough money and influence around here to get me out of any situation,” Sebastian says, shrugging, as if he’s never even thought about that.
“And if someone attacks you – what then?” Kurt asks.
“You know. It’s not exactly like you’re conspicuous,” Sebastian says. He stops in the middle of the parking lot and gives Kurt a pointed look. “No one’s attacked you yet, have they?”
“Besides getting shoved into lockers a little – no. Most people who suspect it turned a blind eye to both Blaine and me because we’re in the glee club.” Kurt knows he’s lucky for it. New Directions has saved him from trouble before. It doesn’t stop people like Karofsky and Azimio from occasionally roughing things up, but Kurt knows he’s gotten by fairly well.
“Me too, Daddy-O.”
“If you call me that again, I will walk home.”
Sebastian laughs, and they walk into the diner. They sit at the counter, and Sebastian orders them two shakes, fries, and burgers. When Kurt insists on paying his half, Sebastian shakes his head. “Don’t need your bread. Besides, I said I’d take you out, didn’t I?”
Kurt pockets his money again and turns to face Sebastian. “Really, though, why me?”
“You seemed interesting. And I wasn’t lying about what I said earlier either.”
“You’d be hotter if you dropped the greaser look,” Kurt says under his breath, his eyes caught on Sebastian’s. Sebastian tilts his head to the side, and he looks amused.
“There’s a part of you deep down that likes me even more because of that.” He holds Kurt’s gaze for a moment longer, and Kurt looks away, his cheeks burning.
“Not true.”
Sebastian says nothing. He just raises his eyebrows. Out of the corner of his eye, Kurt sees him looking smug.
-- -- -- --
Sebastian starts picking him up after work. As he tells Rachel, it’s nothing. Sebastian’s no less irritating. There are times when Kurt genuinely wants to get out of the car and walk home, but Sebastian’s company isn’t as terrible as he originally thought.
Despite the fact that Kurt firmly insists that it’s nothing, Rachel and Santana like to tease him. “Kurt and Sebastian sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-s-i-n-g.” Kurt hates it. He’s also positive that Blaine overhears it one time, and his desire to explain that it’s nothing dies when he sees Blaine kissing Sally in the hall. Part of him hopes that Blaine thinks he’s found someone else.
They’re at Sebastian’s one day, listening to an Elvis record, when Kurt comments, “I don’t understand why everyone loves him so much. He’s all right.”
“All right?” Sebastian sits up and looks incredulously at Kurt. “He’s The King, Kurt – The King!”
“I mean, he has catchy songs, but I’ve heard better.”
“I don’t know you.” Sebastian pauses and groans before adding, “Besides, have you seen how he looks?” Sebastian clutches his hand to his heart. “What I would give to bang him…”
“Sebastian!” Kurt smacks him and glares.
“How can you not want to?” Sebastian rolls back down onto the bed and stares up at the ceiling, sighing happily.
“I prefer Nina Simone and Judy Garland.”
“You’re so boring.”
“Please? I’m boring?”
“You’re kookie if you don’t find him attractive. At least tell me that you like James Dean.”
“Rebel Without a Cause?”
“Or East of Eden? I watched that movie just for him. He had to go wreck his car before I could meet him, didn’t he?”
“Like he would have given you a second glance,” Kurt teases. “Okay, your taste in men isn’t completely whacked.”
“Well, thank you. I’m flattered.” They’re quiet for a moment, and Kurt rolls over next to Sebastian. Sebastian turns to face him, and Kurt’s suddenly aware by how close he is to Sebastian. He can feel Sebastian’ breath on his lips, and his eyes dart down to Sebastian’s lips for a moment before looking back up at Sebastian.
“I suppose you can’t have the worst taste if you find me attractive,” Kurt says.
“Kurt…” Sebastian leans in, and Kurt’s breath catches in his throat. Sebastian’s just about to kiss him when he hears the door slamming downstairs. “Sebastian! We’re home.”
“I have to go.” Kurt jumps up and off of the bed, flattening his shirt.
“C’mon, don’t be like that,” Sebastian says.
“Really, I should get home.” His heart pounds in his chest, and he focuses on anything but Sebastian. His head feels light, and he can’t stop thinking about the feeling of Sebastian’s breath against his lips. He’s shaking, and when Sebastian puts a hand on his shoulder, Kurt shakes him off. “Take me home.”
“Don’t be a wet rag.”
“Take me home.” Finally, he turns to face Sebastian, and he presses his lips into a thin line.
“Whatever.”
The entire ride home, they don’t look at each other. Kurt stares at the other cars they pass by and tries not to think about what it would have felt like to have Sebastian’s lips on his.
-- -- -- --
Sebastian doesn’t mention that they almost kissed. Two weeks after it happens, Kurt walks in on Brittany and Santana kissing in an empty room. Santana grabs him into the room and makes him promise never to tell anyone.
Santana stops teasing him after that quite as much, but Rachel doesn’t. Kurt never mentions to her what happened. He’s sure if he does, he’ll never hear the end of it. Occasionally, the four of them hang out, and, in two months, by the end of the school year, everything goes back to normal.
Kurt settles on seeing Vertigo with Sebastian during the first week of summer. It’s hot and sticky, and they have a milkshake at their favorite diner beforehand. They end up late to the movie and park in the back.
“I hate sweating,” Kurt says, and Sebastian just laughs.
The movie isn’t exactly Kurt’s type of film. There are several points where the crowd screams, and Kurt jumps in his seat. He’s tense, and when it gets to Scottie’s nightmare, he leans closer to Sebastian and clutches onto him.
“Remind me why we’re watching this movie again?” he asks under his breath.
Sebastian looks at him, amused. “Never took you for a scared-y cat.”
Kurt glares up at him, but he doesn’t protest as Sebastian wraps an arm around him. He looks up at Sebastian just as Scottie sits up, and Sebastian leans down.
Sebastian’s lips are soft against his, and Kurt reaches up, his hands grabbing onto Sebastian’s leather jacket and tugging him down. Sebastian whimpers and reaches out, his hand moving to Kurt’s cheek. He knows that he should be careful, but Kurt only wants more. He hasn’t done this in eight months – not since he and Blaine broke it off, but kissing Sebastian is entirely different from kissing Blaine. Blaine was always gentle and timid, but Sebastian’s anything but that. His touch burns where Blaine’s soothed, and Kurt lets out a small whimper before pulling away, breathing heavily.
“Say we split and find another place to continue,” Sebastian says.
“Don’t you want to see the ending?”
“Are you kidding me?”
They drive up to a hill, and Kurt looks at Sebastian, trying to figure out what to say. He’s never done this before. Kisses with Blaine were shared in empty classrooms or in each other’s rooms. This feels dirty and terrifying, but Kurt’s heart is beating fast, and he just wants more. “I’m not going to – I don’t want…” he says, and Sebastian just nods.
“We can just make out.”
Sebastian’s hands reach up into Kurt’s hair, and Kurt wants to protest because he spent ten minutes making sure to get it perfect before putting on some hairspray, but the protest dies in his mouth as Sebastian tugs. He whimpers and moves onto Sebastian’s seat, straddling his lap and running his hands down his sides. It’s not the sort of thing he usually does, but Kurt wonders why as Sebastian’s other hand slips down onto his ass.
Kurt can feel Sebastian hard through his pants, and he rocks down onto him, his own cock half-hard. Kurt gasps, and Sebastian kisses down his neck, sucking at the skin. Kurt whimpers, and he tries to grab onto something, but he doesn’t know what, so he just continues to rock against Sebastian.
Sebastian arches up and grinds against him as well, and Kurt reaches down, his hands slipping under Sebastian’s shirt and running up his chest. “Sebastian…” His voice is needy and broken even in his own ears, and it only takes another minute before he comes with a small cry, pressing their lips together again. Sebastian continues to grind against him throughout it, and soon after Kurt’s done, his hands fall to Kurt’s back, and his nails dig in through Kurt’s shirt.
They both go limp, and Kurt lays his head in Sebastian’s shoulder. Sebastian’s hand reaches up and lazily runs through it. When their breathing steadies out, Sebastian asks, “Tell me that wasn’t the grooviest date you’ve ever had.”
“Just don’t ruin the moment,” Kurt says, though he smiles.
-- -- -- --
They start dating, and Kurt’s surprised and thankful that Rachel’s able to keep her excitement to herself. Kurt listens to her “I told you so” speech eight times before he cuts her off and tells her to shut it.
Sebastian scares him. He’s too brash, and Kurt’s afraid that they’re going to get caught, but Sebastian seems to know what he’s doing. Kurt teases him about his Cadillac and clothes, and Sebastian pokes fun of his love of I Love Lucy and fashion. They’re not perfect, but Kurt’s learned that he can’t expect that.
Summer rushes by too quickly, and Kurt’s sad when school comes again. He’s happy to see his friends from glee club again, but he misses spending days with Sebastian, even if he sometimes was dragged to the pool.
School terrifies him. Senior year means college applications. It also means he’s a year closer to potentially being far away from Sebastian. Sebastian’s top choice is Columbia, but Kurt knows how hard it is to get in to an Ivy League school. Still, he can’t help but dream of days in New York, dragging Sebastian to Broadway plays, and working for Dior. It’s silly and wild and out of his reach, but he can’t help it.
On his birthday, Sebastian surprises him with a bash at his house. His parents aren’t home, and he’s invited a few of Kurt’s friends as well. It’s hard keeping his hands off of Sebastian throughout the night, and after wincing his way through too beers, Rachel has to pull him away and keep him on the other side of the room.
When they go through presents, everyone but Sebastian gives him one. Rachel buys him a record of Wizard of Oz, and Santana buys him a sleek blazer. Blaine is there, though Sally isn’t, and though they haven’t patched things up completely, they’re getting there. Kurt understands. He knows that Blaine isn’t happy, but it isn’t his problem to solve.
Sebastian drives Kurt home and presses a quick peck to his cheek. Kurt’s almost disappointed that Sebastian didn’t buy him anything, though he doesn’t say anything. Kurt pulls back reluctantly. He knows that Burt will be unhappy if doesn’t get in before ten. When Sebastian looks him up and down, he crosses his arms over his chest and smiles.
“Stop making moose eyes at me, Bas. You know I have to go,” Kurt says.
“Before I give you my present?” Sebastian grins at him, expecting Kurt’s surprise.
“And here I’d thought you’d forgotten it.”
“I just couldn’t give it to you in front of everyone else.” The present is a small envelope, and Kurt feels Sebastian staring intently at him as he opens it. He pulls out the two slips of paper. It takes him a moment to glance over and realize what they are, but when he does, he feels his eyes sting with tears as a smile spreads over his face.
“Tickets?”
“To Paris, babe. Over Christmas. I got your father’s blessing.”
