What are we? We spend a good majority of our time together flirting and just enjoying each other’s company. Yet neither of us have made a move to further things. Which is just as much my fault as it is yours. I want to run up to you. Tell you how much you mean to me, and just how much I value your happiness above anything else. But I’m scared. More than anything that I have no idea what goes through your mind when you see me. Maybe you feel the same but maybe you actually secretly find me annoying and only talk to me to be nice. I’m scared to put myself out there, to show you exactly how much you mean to me, only to have it crushed within a minute. My heart could not take that from you. My heart has put you in such a powerful place that it might be less painful to silently live with these feelings forever than you tell you and ruin our entire friendship.
