The first of my three favorite characters from X-Force/X-Statix!

Guy Smith - Mr. Sensitive/The Orphan

He's already got antennae on his normal design, so some sort of invertebrate seemed to fit

And his power revolves around being extremely hypersenstive to every stimulus in his environment, so a slug was just perfect

I went with a leopard slug specifically because he has these kind of scabby markings all over him, which reminded me of the spots on leopard slugs. I had those guys all over my front yard in the spring as a kid

I read the whole X-Statix run recently and was way more endeared to it than I expected to be. It's a very satirical parody of X-Men comics but it gets surprisingly heartfelt deeper in? Guy was probably my fave from the whole run, both for his personality and design.

How about a little late 70s post punk? Normil Hawaiians were a evershifting London based group centered around guitarist/vocalist Guy Smith. This is a demo as I prefer it to the 45 which was released.
