Firstborn Ruadhán
Ruadhán, Cycle of Eventide. Chronomancer.
"I see visions of a great, hungering evil. Vast and wise as the world itself. The heart of our race is written in thorns."
In the weeks leading up to the Mordrem siege, Ruadhán found himself plagued with terrible visions. Visions of hatred and pain, laden with symbolism. Fearing the worst, he locked himself in his study in Divinity's Fall, then recorded what he saw.
When he presented the prophecies to Alder and Elspeth, they were dismissed as impossible.
How wrong they were.
My Guild Wars 2 Charr Mesmer
Portrait painting of my GW2 charr mesmer / chronomancer that I don't think I've ever really posted anywhere before, other than on my personal art site!
It’s probably one of my favorite GW2 / charr paintings I’ve made so far. My charr mesmer is also one of my favorite GW2 characters, who I unfortunately have not played nearly as much as I wish I had time for.
I love the armor skins available to light-armored charr - it was very fun discovering the pieces available to her, and deciding which ones fit her best (even if she ended up with mostly charr cultural armor, haha) The headpiece is probably one of my favorites from the entire game - I apparently have a weakness for character designs with mysteriously-hidden eyes, haha.

Wrote up some info on Meep’s Mesmer abilities!
• Initially Meep's magic is very weak. She put little to no effort into training herself whilst living with the farmers who adopted her. Her magic has always been blue and she has never really understood why. When she first met Dual she could create a few basic illusions but nothing more than fancy party tricks. • After moving in with Dual he helped her learn some basics of magic. This has left a permanent impact on her abilities and her style has remained somewhat thiefy even after she received proper Mesmer training. Her father being a thief also lent to this. • When Meep initially joined the order her magic was slightly more developed but she was still not capable of many basic Mesmer skills as Dual had no way to provide her with the proper training she needed. Dual had taught her some hand to hand combat, how to turn invisible and how to blink, but she was not capable of making clones or altering her appearance. During her initiate training she began to develop more of the typical Mesmer skills, though she had a tendency to recreate them in odd ways. • During her training she spent time studying under many different areas to figure out the best fit for her and found that she liked working as a combat medic under Wsin. When she first began training she had not yet displayed any chronomancy skills. It was not till she was trained under Mira that she realized she was capable of doing any chronomancy. It was when she first discovered this ability that her magic began to develop a sparkle to it. • As Meep's chronomancy abilities grew she had the inclination to test them on a wound to see if she could reverse the damage. Once she realized it was possible she began experimenting on slightly larger scales. This use of chronomancy was one not ever used before and it took a mix of Meep, Mira, and Wsin to work out the logistics of how to do it properly. Meep realized she could very easily overdo it if she tried to undo the damage on an injury that had been sustained too far in the past. She also realized she was not capable of undoing things that were completely missing, nor could she bring back anyone who was gone. • Meep's did not make any significant strides forward with her magic for a few years before she was brought a patient that had been partially branded. She realized she could use her magic to undo the dragon corruption and after some experimentation came to realize this applied to any physical dragon corruption that was on a small scale. • Eventually Meep was called to Amnoon to help with the victims of Kralkatorrik's branding. During her time here she worked to see if her chronomancy ability could be used to remove dragon corruption from things other than people. Removing things such as crystals was possible though very tedious and she eventually learned a way to purify larger spots by creating a time warp field. The same limitations applied as earlier, but she was now capable of removing larger chunks of corruption that affected the landscape. People still needed a more intimate form of care. • Meep has also slowly been learning how to use her magic to move things forward in time. This is easily done on people if done at a small scale, but far more difficult to pull off using her time warp field. • As Meep has developed her abilities she has noticed some side effects. Her magic has begun to become more galactic in nature and now shifts from light to dark blue while containing many sparkling glittery stars. When she pushes her magic to its limits she begins to develop dark blue markings on her body that have shimmering white starry freckles. These quickly fade once she takes time to rest, but she has noticed that she now has a few starry freckles mixed in with her regular ones. (These are the same colour as her normal freckles, just star shaped). These occurrences are fairly rare and seem to have no negative effects. • Meep's eyes have also begun to develop a slight gradient into a dark blue and when her magic is being used full force they gain the same starry sparkles that her magic has. The sparkles fade with time, but the gradient has started to remain. She also has a slightly sparkly sheen to her hair that was not there before. • Unknown to Meep, if she ever pushes her magic beyond her limits she will find that her hair will lose all colour temporarily turning a silvery blue. Her facial markings will develop into constellations and an astral halo will develop. This will only happen if she tries to use chronomancy on a massive scale and these effects will fade within a few days. Pushing herself this far is dangerous and far beyond her current skill set. • Mira and Wsin have worked hard to figure out how to share Meep's healing magic with other chronomancers who desire to use it. This has led to an upsurge in what are being called "time scars". These are random effects caused by either under or over-aging a certain area of the body. They are usually patches of overly-soft and pale skin that lacks blemishes or wrinkled spotted skin that may be darker than the rest of the body. Meep has her fair share of these scars from times where she attempted to use the magic on herself before she was fully capable. Dual has a few as well as he made the mistake of letting her attempt to heal him when she wasn't ready. These spots can be reversed but it is very difficult to get them to perfectly match the rest of the body.

I’m not great at taking the super fancy screenshots yet, but I wanted to show off Arydell! She’s probably one of my most gorgeous characters! (as well as being my main character, lol) I’ll for sure try to post more :)
ART of GUILD WARS 2 Professions - 3x3 Official Art The Mesmer / Chronomancer / Mirage /
Mesmers are magical duelists who wield deception as a weapon. Using powerful illusions, clones, and phantasmal magic to confuse and distract their foes, mesmers make sure every fight is balanced in their favor and their opponents can’t believe their eyes.
Chronomancers gain new abilities that allow them to rend both space and time. Being able to use both a shield and new wells, their skill set focuses on past versus future and fast versus slow as key themes. Chronomancers also gain access to Continuum Split/Shift.
The mirage moves through battle like shifting sand, cloaking themselves rather than dodging attacks. Their graceful, swirling axes and prismatic mirrors are as deceptively beautiful as they are deadly.
