How active is this rp?

Hey!  It has had its ups and downs especially since we had a bit of rearranging in staff and admin positions this last month, and it's final exams and graduation and such but things should steady out and pick up in the next few weeks.  

We are always accepting new applications and some of our roles will be opening up when the activity check ends in a few days as well so if there is anyone that you are interested in don't hesitate to let us know!

Do you guys accept Originals? (Rebekah, Klaus, Elijah)

Yes, of course! We'd actually be thrilled to have some more Originals running around. We have a Klaus right now, though our Rebekah's status is pending. As soon as our other admin returns from her vacation, we'll make a decision whether we will bother to try and contact her again, so her role may be open again very soon! I also play Alaric and Mandy plays Jenna so there's tons of potential for interesting interactions right off the bat, no plotting even required, so we'd basically jump ya with love, haha!

We don't have biographies up for every single one of the "Mikaelson" family,  however, every single one is open, including those who are deceased (though if you'd like to apply for Esther, Mikael, Henrik or Finn, it'd be cool if you could come off anon so we could discuss your ideas for them! ^^)

If you'd like to apply for Elijah or Kol, use the bio-less app we have here! We opened with quite a few fandoms, and only chose 10 canons per fandom to write bios for so that we could open at some point, haha.

I'm interested in joining this roleplay but after looking at some blogs it seems like several blogs haven't been touched in weeks. Should I be worried?

We have a few players that are on hiatus; Elena Gilbert, Stiles Stilinski, Tiffany Maxwell, Meg, and a few others which have been in contact with admin via illnesses and other real life troubles that have kept them from posting.  

We just completed an activity check at the end of last month; our current / up to date list can be found HERE or you can check our blogroll HERE for the list of our 34 blogs to follow (approximately 30 characters and a few sideblogs).  

We try to maintain a balance between being understanding of real life and keeping on top of activity but we don’t always post the private messages we get from people regarding their personal reasons for being idle, so it might not always be apparent.  However, we do list hiatuses etc. on the who’s who page.  

If there are any accounts that you are concerned about specifically, you can contact us off of anonymous and we can offer a little more specific information.

p.s.  While there are times when real life snags all of us for a while, you should rest assured that the core group of people have been steady and reliable since we opened, and even if there are some lags, you can rest assured that we are going to be here for a while!

Do you require the para sample to be specific to your plot, or is it acceptable as long as it is in character for the character we are auditioning for?

We’re really pushing for plot-specific para samples, just so we can see how you’d play your character here, versus a more canon/any other storyline. 

I know we haven’t gotten the plot pages up yet as we’re still in what Bluebird likes to call a “beta phase,” which essentially just means we’re still working on stuff — but, as a few quick pointers:

Make sure to include stuff that deviates from canon in your para sample/character’s perspective. (Info from your bio)

Sunnydale, Los Angeles and NYC have all been destroyed to some degree in TGY canon within the last few years — make of that what you (or your character) will!

If the character you’re thinking of applying for is a supernatural being aware of Hell/Hellmouths, then it should know there is a particularly powerful Hellmouth below New Orleans.

In Bluebird’s words: Plot wise, the major things you need to know is that there is a Hellmouth under New Orleans, the Slayers and Watchers Org are setting up shop in NOLA.  Sunnydale went first, then LA, and most recently New York fell in what can only be described as an apocalyptical quake — a full ten on the Richter scale, decimating the city almost without warning and with no scientifically sound cause.

You're clearly putting A LOTTTTTTTTTTT of time and effort into this roleplay. I really hope your members won't let you down by quitting early without warning! It happens all the time.

We hope no one leave us, hehe! We’re going for a… forum-esque kinda tumblr roleplay? Lots’ve plotting involved, so nobody gets bored. ^^ We absolutely adore everyone who’s auditioned so far though and I think it’s pretty dang safe to say both Bluebird and I have very high hopes!

Eep, you’re not the only one!! Thanks, nonnie! We’re so glad to hear people are interested. We’re aiming to open as soon as we possibly can!

These are the kind of comments that get us all kinds of excited ourselves and give us the extra push when we need it.  Thank you!  I am going to be trying to get out as many bios as I can muster in the next few days; I have to do some Christmas shopping tomorrow but tomorrow night and Saturday are all mine and I hope to put them to good use (and I have a stash of energy shots just for such an occasion).
