Despite having only a single work on AO3 prior to the tournament, little HMS Gyriel punched well above its weight, soaring above far more popular ships including Enjoltaire, Enjolferre and Eposette (why do they all start with E? this eeelucidates their eeelimination....this eeecosystem was greatly lacking in diversity) (what) to claim their half of a bronze medal.

It just goes to show what Very Old Man Yaoi can do.
