what are your thoughts on the way dashner wrote the interactions between teresa and brenda?

         i’m always gonna be bitter about it & the way dashner wrote them as enemies          because of probably the stupidest reason, a boy. they could have been one of         the most dynamic female pairs in young adult literature & in my opinion would         have gotten along tremendously well. when you think about it they have similar          personalities, albeit brenda has a little more fire & spark whereas teresa has         been described as more mellow but what’s a good friendship if they aren’t a          little different? but instead, they were pitted against each other because of a boy,          who was definitely not worth any of it ( sorry bro ). instead of having two badass          female characters working together for the good of humanity he wrote them as          enemies & i myself refuse to write it that way. in my own personal opinion, they          should have been friends instead of enemies & they also should have had more         interactions to explore that.
