Can I request? Uhm... Oikawa dealing with a depressed s/o.. please?

Oikawa to fill my soul, bless him he’s my absolute favourite and I love him dearly 💓💓

• I Headcanon him as depressed myself, so I think if he had a s/o, who had depression they would depend on eachother a lot to help them out • Whenever his s/o doesn’t feel like talking he respects that and gives them space • When he knows his s/o has had an especially rough day he sets up a lot of blankets and pillows on the couch and just holds them while they watch a happy movie • He is ferociously protective of his s/o, if anybody is bullying them about their depression he will be the first one there to stop it • He doesn’t see his s/o as damaged or any less because of their depression he sees them as stronger • Whenever his s/o gets angry or frustrated he knows exactly how to calm them down, usually just by talking it out with them and letting them vent their anger • when he has his own bouts of depression, he tries his best to avoid his s/o, he doesn’t want to affect them but he knows he’s being stupid and hurting his s/o by doing so • There have been times where his s/o just holds him and he cries, he’s had the same moments but with him holding his s/o • All he wants to do is love and support his s/o and he will always try to put them before himself

Relationship headcanons with Oikawa and his s/o and Iwa-chan and his s/o

Oikawa:

• He is the most doting and loving boyfriend ever, all he wants to do is make his s/o happy!

• His favourite date activity is going to the movies and then getting milkshakes after, he always gets a peanut butter fudge, and you always get your favourite flavour

• He loves driving around with his s/o and just listening to the radio talking about their life problems, he’s constantly stressed about school and volleyball sometimes he just has to vent and relax

• When he kisses his s/o, he picks them up and spins them around causing both him and them to giggle

• He and his s/o have “nap” dates, these are dates where the two of them just sleep together, no kissing no talking just sleep

• He gets jealous very easily and though he tries to control it when he sees a guy pushing the limits he swoops in and hugs on you till the guy takes the hint

• He always has his s/o as his phone background, he finds it relaxing to look at them during intense moments

• Though his fangirls were problematic at first he quickly got a grip on them after he heard of them being quite nasty to you, and gives you “priority” seating in all the practices and games

• Since he’s always so busy with volleyball, he convinces you to become the manager of the team so he can see you more

• He has to tell you he loves you every day, just so you never forget, he treasures his s/o like no other and would do anything for them

Iwaizumi:

• When he’s first in his relationship he is so awkward bless him, he’s afraid to do anything that may hurt his s/o. So his s/o is the one who usually initiates the romance and kissing

• His favourite kind of dates are bowling dates, he is either the pro bowler or he gets straight gutters, afterwards he takes you guys out to pizza

• When he kisses his s/o he lightly cups their face in order to bring them closer

• He enjoys cuddling his s/o while they watch their show, they always have a show they are watching together at the moment they are watching Parks and Rec.

• He always is buying small gifts for his s/o, like the new lipstick they mentioned or a shirt he saw with a character they like

• His s/o and him go out after every won volleyball game, they always go to get waffles after at the local diner

• When he walks around with his s/o he likes to hold hands with their fingers intertwined, it makes him feel closer to them

• The only person who sees him cry is his s/o, he knows they won’t judge, just comfort him

• His s/o loves to tell them cheesy pick up lines, always trying to make Iwaizumi blush (they always do)

• He thinks his s/o is the moon and the stars he can’t believe how lucky he is to have landed them and he always works to make the relationship perfect

Omg I missed it too I’m so glad to be back I loved writing this. If enough people like it I might make a part two

Oikawa was sitting in his class, listening to the teacher talk about their next upcoming project. Something about researching and understand humans different than yourself. It sounded really difficult and he was worried he wouldn’t have enough time between his other classes and volleyball. Oh crap, the teacher was till talking what did he miss?!? People were moving around now going together with other people, he himself was about to rise when he felt a light tap on his shoulder, he turned around and saw Y/n. “Hey I guess we’re partners for this, I know your busy with volleyball but here’s my number so you c an set up what time we have to interview eachother.” What? Interviews? Apparently he looked as confused as he felt, he girl in front of him sighed “You were zoning out weren’t you? Well we have to interview eachother for the project I have the list of questions we need to ask and idea of how we can present them, you just need to organise a time.” And with that the bell rang and she took off. So his partner was Y/n. He didn’t know much about her, she was quiet, and also fairly pretty. She’s never had a boyfriend despite a few guys confessing to her. Looks like this was a chance to learn more about the shy girl. He quickly sent her a text saying he could do tomorrow after school at his house, she quickly responded saying that would work.

THE NEXT DAY

After school he walked to the front gate to meet Y/n. Once he saw her he said “Okay, I don’t live to far from here just a few blocks” she nodded in response, and he started leading the way. The walk there was quiet, he wasn’t really sure how to make conversation with her. He did notice she liked to look up at the clouds and trees while walking, leading her to talk smack into a pole before he could stop her. She fell down “Ow, that hurt.” She murmured. Oikawa tried to refrain from laughing as he quickly helped her up, “well y/n if you’d look at where you are going or tried to actually talk to me this could have been avoided.” His comment made her flush with embarrassment. Soon they arrived at his house and made their way into his living room. “Okay Y/n, do we want to go back and forth on the interview questions?” She nodded, “I’ll go first, so Oikawa, question one is do you prefer black or white?” He pondered a second, “I’m going to go with black, it calls to my dark souls more” he chuckled with his response, she nodded and wrote down his answer. “Okay, so do you believe in aliens y/n?” She eagerly nodded “oh yeah! There’s no way in hell we are the only life in the galaxy” he offered her a high five “Finally! Anther human who gets it, aliens are real and they are coming one day to contact us!” As the two continued on the previous awkwardness was beginning to fade. After asking some more basic questions such as favourite color and such, it was time for deeper topics. “Okay Y/n, next question. When was the first time you fell in love?” She shrugged her shoulders, “I don’t know, I don't believe in love.” She said this nonchalantly while grabbing for another chip. Oikawa was confused, how can you not believe in love? “Y/n, that’s insane how can you not believe in love? Love is everywhere, it’s something you see everyday.” She sighed “Listen I’ll lay it for you straight. My parents divorced when I was 8, I’ve seen my fair share of my mom getting dumped by people, also my best friend. If love is real thand n why does it never seem to last?” He fell silent, how was he supposed to respond to that? He lightly grabbed her hand “Not everyone finds love right away, it takes time and it takes patience and effort.” She still seemed on the fence as she drew her hand back. “Okay now it’s my turn for a question.” Oikawa was spaced out again, lost in his thoughts. He wanted to make her believe in love. In fact she deserved to see love. But like he said, love takes effort. He planned on showing her one day how much love was in the world but for right now they had a project to do.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I moved this to the top of my list so I could get it out for your birthday today!!!! I hope you like this and I hope you have a beautiful day ❤️❤️❤️

• He stays up till midnight in order to call you and be the first to wish you a happy birthday

• He’s already had his gift for you planned for months! He’s so excited to give to you, he gets to your house super early in the morning

• He’s a terrible baker but doesn’t know it. He tried to make you a cupcake for your special day, it ended up being more like a cup of raw batter (not that you’d say this to him )

• For your special day he lets you decide what to do! He lets you pick out an activity or a food place you like to go

• He also has a few surprises up his sleeve as well! He had his team mates help him make several small scrapbooks of your guys’ best moments

• He makes you wear a badge all day that says “It’s my birthday!”

• CONSTANT SINGING OF HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALL DAY

• He also has “birthday kisses” however old you are tuning that day is how many kisses he has to give you

• He likes to call them the birthday queen and her majesty for the day, mainly to embarrass them

• Overall he’s just so excited to celebrate his s/o birthday (it’s a whole day dedicated to them!) and he likes to make it special for them

General Headcannon: Oikawa

He loves loves loves spongebob for some reason. He finds the show hilarious and always watches it in his free time. He likes how simple it is and uses it to distract himself from his stressful life. He owns one pair of spongebob boxers as a joke, Iwaizumi saw them ONE TIME and Oikawa has never lived it down.
