"GYAN"
by H11235
Kathmandu, Nepal artist Kiran Maharjan's work incorporates Nepali characters and elements of photo realism. One of the primary organizers of the Prasad Project, Maharjan uses street art to impact Nepalese youth through workshops, exhibitions, and murals. Painting as H11235 he told @NPR his art focuses on the idea of contradictions between order and chaos—the "H" represents the chaos in Robert Louis Stevenson's "Mr. Hyde" and contrasts with the order found in the numbers taken from the Fibonacci sequence. Kathmandu is a sister city to Eugene, Oregon so during summer, 2018 H11235 paid a visit to the Pacific Northwest and added two works to the city's @20x21EUG mural project. This smaller second work is on W 10th Ave at the @LaneTitans Mary Spilde Center. @h11235/
