❄ Events for December ❄
It’s here! Winter has finally come to the Harvest Academy campus. While the festive mood is ready to burst at the seams, there are some things to be taken care of first!
Prompt: First Snow & Testing Week Prep
The students and staff awake to see that a thin layer of white snow has dusted over the entire town. It isn’t enough to be considered massive snowfall, but still enough to be pretty and cause people to slip! Make sure to keep warm and study hard because testing is coming up. If you want to do well, you’ll make sure to stick your nose in your books and finish those assignments for the semester!
Prompt: Testing Week [December 3-9]
This is the week where everyone’s efforts throughout the semester will be judged! Every student in every class will be taking rigorous tests to ensure that all students are meeting the standards the school expects for learning. Take this opportunity to write about how stressed or unstressed your character may be feeling! Remember, doing poorly on exam week can risk your character’s enrollment at the school! (Note: No one is being kicked out, this is just a for-fun writing prompt!)
Flower Festival [December 17-23]
Since we didn’t get to do the Fall Flower Festival, we’re going to do a Winter Flower Festival! Now that tests are over, here’s a good chance to spread some cheer and love this winter. A list of flowers and their meanings will be posted closer to this date, and throughout the week, you’ll be able to hand out as many flowers as you’d like! You can get your flowers from a booth the student council will set up.
Gift Exchange and Holiday Dinner [December 24-30]
A majority of students remain on campus during the holidays, so the school throws a big party for all of the students! Sign ups for a gift exchange between characters will begin prompty after this post is made, and will remain open until December 11th. Make sure to send in whichever characters you want to join in on the exchange! It will be like a Secret Santa, so no one will know who you get until the big reveal! More information will be posted about the Gift Exchange later on. The Holiday Dinner will be a group event that people are free to come and go from, but everyone is expected to dress up for the occasion as there will be a Holiday Ball following the dinner! Perhaps you’ll even ask for a date~?
