Announcing the return of the annual Hackathon, where the city's brightest tech minds are invited to Hack the Museum and develop innovative gallery experiences for Museum visitors. This year's event kicks off Wednesday, April 4, and includes an impressive panel of judges, a challenging new prompt, a year's Museum membership for registered hackers, and of course, cash prizes for the top teams. Hackers: bring your creativity, curiosity, and tech skills and get ready to present your A game. You can register solo or as a team.

Hackathon 3.0 has been churning at the Museum and an epic battle is going down at this month's Final Friday: Hack the Museum. Check out the projects Hackers created to guide you to your new favorite work of art and cast your vote for the People's Choice Award. Then dance it out with Philly funk by Swift Technique. Final Fridays are included with Museum admission. Tickets are limited. Final Fridays illustration by Nate Harris.

Next week is the Hackathon 3.0 Kickoff. This is our annual invitation to Hack The Museum, where technology buffs and creatives team up to deliver engaging new gallery experiences for Museum visitors, and compete for $2,500 in cash prizes. This year's challenge is to create a way to guide visitors to their favorites in our collection. More will be revealed at next week's kickoff event. Registration is just $25 and includes a year's membership to the Museum.
