Spring has always been your favorite season. There’s just something whimsical and youthful about the flowers blossoming once again, painting the world with their vibrant, resplendent colors. The sweet, melodic sound of the birds chirping as they dance with the wind, landing gently on ancient old bark.
It was also Donghyuck’s favorite season too, but for different reasons.
Unlike you, he wasn’t in love with the striking visual of the tulips as they blossomed open, nor was he interested in the flying creatures fluttering above him. Quite frankly he found them to be quite a nuisance.
No, it wasn’t spring he was in love with.
He was in love with the way your eyes lit up underneath the spring sun. He was in love with the floral that pinned your hair into place. He was in love with the way the sunlight bounced off your skin, making you radiate with unrelenting beauty.
