I went for a kind of a ‘ferret pouncing on a toy’ pose, but then wasn’t sure where to put the tail, so it’s kind of...slithering off.  Hagoop’s normal color scheme is already pretty close to the nuclear palette, so I wish they had mixed it up a little.  If the black and green areas were reversed, that might be enough to make it stand out.

Its body exudes a sticky slime that protects its soft flesh.  It traps prey in the slime and delivers a lightning shock through its whiskers. 

Hagoop is precious.  At first I thought its teeth were eyes, and then had to correct my lineart halfway through drawing it.

Hagoop looks like it needs a hug :(

It’s based on a hagfish. I once read a book in which a hagfish was described as the worst animal to be considered for a beanie baby because it was so disgusting. Well, looks like the people behind Pokemon Uranium proved them wrong, because I would cuddle the hell out of Hagoop.
