Im very sure this is an universal experience but yk tfw you find THE BEST piano rendition of a not very popular song on youtube and you desperately want to play it because it’s the only arrangement that actually has any soul to it because all the other ones are just synesthesia arrangements with all the lasers and drums on the song but the person who has made the best arrangement has recorded it from a very bad perspective so you cant actually see all the notes and also they have not provided any sheet music bc they probably learnt it by ear (magic i tell you) and you look in the comments and all the ones asking for sheet music have been ignored so you go “ah shit” and there’s literally no other way to learn it than to spend hours with the video at 0.25x speed trying to make sense of “ok one hand is covering the other but logically if this finger is on this key the other one must be here” and going trial and error with the chords until you get one that resembles it and having fun but at the same time thinking “why couldnt this song be more popular goddammit”
