Based on this prompt by my beloved @puddleslimewrites <3
Hero didn't shrink under Superhero's gaze. They stared back, expression firm. "I know I messed up. But I did what I could to fix it and no one got killed."
"There are three civilians in critical condition in the hospital. You don't know no one got killed yet."
"What else do expect me to do? I did my best to make it right."
"I expect better from a hero of the agency!" Superhero tried not to raise their voice. They and Hero were standing in one of the agency hallways, this argument was far too public.
what if i said matters of taste part 2 is gonna be close to 10k words
... I’m not sure if the correct response here is “You’re welcome” or “I’m sorry”.
Welcome to a game of...dumb stuff I believed when I was little.
When I was little I believed that every time an episode of a tv show was on. It was live. So actors did it multiple times a day based on time zones. It took my until I was eight to work it out :)

What a dismal place it was, Gerda thought. The haze of smoke in the air, the steam puffing off machines that worked and worked, powering those electric lights that were a far cry from sunlight (of which there was none down here). The long way down was a chilly one filled with perils that were no easy feat to overcome. But now that she was here? Hadestown? Those terrors paled in comparison with the dead looks in the eyes of the countless tired workers. Hadestown was warm alright. Heated by the furnaces of machines and the sweat of the poor souls building that long, long wall. By the scaffolding she guessed it would be pretty high when finished.
To think of it, Kai really would love the machinery. He was clever like that, if a little full of himself.
Gerda tried to ask after her friend, but no one would so much as look at her, much less answer. It was hard to say how long she wandered around, asking and asking with not a word of information. She’d given up asking and just started looking, when she spotted someone who stood out from the crowd. And THAT was an understatement.
Clothes finer than anything anyone else here could dream of, a confidence and alertness beyond the workers’ too. With the boldness and courage that brought her this far, she walked right up the woman and said:
“Excuse me, if I might have a moment of your time, I’m looking for my friend.”
Listen, you. Things have escalated and it's entirely your fault.
I marathoned the series.
I bought Journal 3 and The Book of Bill, the latter of which had to be shipped in from America, and read them both cover to cover. I'm seriously trying to find where all the codes have been translated.
And now I'm writing a fic.
And it's all your fault.
How dare you introduce me to a new obsession.
SKSKSKSKSSK I’M NOT SORRY 🤣🤣🤣
Although you do have my condolences, getting swept into a new obsession is always an Experience™️
If you’re looking for more Gravity Falls material to consume, I HIGHLY recommend the graphic novel Lost Legends!
Good luck with your fanfic writing!
Well it's been about a year (I think) since I said I'd fix this shit up. Bout time I get to it. (If milk will let me draw without laying on my desk, keyboard, or computer chair.)
