had a snatch of free time and wanted to sketch Celeborn’s lineage (specifically for TFO, though this is 85% canonical anyway.*) As in canon, elves in this family have gotten shorter over time. Arwen’s a bit taller than Celebrian because she had a fresh influx of Maia & Unbegotten blood (via Elwë) through Elrond. Lindir, despite being a Finwëan several times over through both parents, is also Peredhel through both parents so his height was tempered by the Man in him. (He’s still pretty average for Third Age elves though.)
