a/n: HELP THIS IS SO MUCH FUN TO WRITE,, i personally get extremely flustered around someone i like so this is pretty self indulgent

➹ akaashi:
- oh my god pretty boy
- sometimes i feel like he doesn't realize how pretty/attractive he is to other people so when you get extremely flustered when he sits down next to you at the volleyball team meeting, he's confused as to why you're all fidgety
- at first he doesn't really think of it as anything because you're always a little jumpy around him, but your knees are brushing and your face is incredibly blushy <3
- "y/n,, is everything alright-" akaashi leans forward to check up on you because in his perspective, you look like you've got a fever
- "HEYY HEY HEY" bokuto cheers as he sits next to akaashi, accidentally knocking the second year over
- the wind nearly gets knocked out of you and now you're laying flat on your back and you're staring right up at akaashi, who has his hands on either side of your head holding himself up

- akaashi: (. ///////. )
- crickets in the gym rn HAHA
- it's akaashis turn to blush and he slowly gets off of you with the eyes of all his team mates on the him ,, he helps you up and you're now just sitting there with him awkwardly
- after the meeting ends, akaashi's anxiety spikes and he wants to approach you and apologize for falling against you earlier but he's so nervous around you too <3 because he really likes youuu ><
- instead he makes up for it by buying you your favorite soft drink in the morning with a small note that says, "sorry about yesterday" <3 protect him pls
➹ kuroo:
- as manager of the team, your duty is to always fill in nekoma's volleyball player attendance, note anything important in game, and create tactics that would work efficiently throughout the team
- you're currently sitting on the bench trying different match ups if yaku were to bump a ball to kenma but the setter wouldn't be able to save the ball
- "you know i think i could get the ball,, especially if im at this position." a husky voice speaks next to you, breath tickling your ear lobe
- you glare up at kuroo before looking at the team, "you know, kuroo-san, you'll be late for your own game if you keep hanging around here." you put a sharp edge on your words, but kuroo only laughs
- "why would i want to spend time with the team when i could be here with you?" he chuckles and your entire face goes red >///<
- kuroo: 1 y/n: 0
- you end up shooing him away, but before he leaves he throws his volleyball jacket over your head teasingly,, you leave it over your head and continue your work
- you don't even realize how soft the fabric is,, and how it smells exactly like him
- after practice ends, the entire team prepares to walk home,, it's pretty cold outside and you're only dressed in the flimsy school uniform
- "kuroo-san! your jacket-" you jog up to him and hold it out to him, only for him to take it and wrap the large article of clothing around your shoulders
- "just keep it, okay?" he says, leaning down at you to move away a stray piece of hair gently
- you stand there as he runs off, completely blown away at how smooth that kid is HAHA
