Sooo pride exists and I’m queer and so are my boys!! I know for a fact that they totally celebrate with all that’s in them, and though Kageyama’s a bit shy, it’s not because he’s not proud to be himself, and his shirt says as much :33 Hinata’s really proud of him for going out for a pride parade too, just positive vibes 🏳️‍🌈

I’m not gonna lie, I did shed a few tears while drawing this lmao. Not all of us have a chance to be out to our families and friends, to be open and proud, and this month can be stressful for those like me who have never been able to truly celebrate themselves. Please be mindful of this, and show that you love and appreciate your queer friends for who they are.

HQ Pride Headcannons Fukurodani Edition!

I cant draw for shit but like designing clothes/outfits so ill do my best to describe them.

I also ended up including random hcs and relationships.

Im a fukurodani hoe so ill start there

Bokuto:

I headcannon him as demiromantic/demisexual so he has a purple shirt that says “DEMI-GOD” on it. And the demi is colored in with the demi pride flag. Its probably cropped (Kuroo double dog dared him)

Kuroo also probably double dog bared him to wear jean shorts that are at least a little short, and bokuto has No Fear so he did it. Y’know the ones that are frayed at the bottom and the white little string things are everywhere? Those. His belt and socks are rainbow. In my mind, shoes dont exist but probably sneakers?

Akaashi:

I headcannon him as gay.

He definitely did some light makeup. I like the idea of him wearing black palazzo pants with a longish rainbow belt. White t-shirt that says ‘I love my dumbass boyfriend’. Hes wearing those sneakers that have little platforms that are rainbow. Bokuto was not prepared for them to be the same height.

Konoha:

Personally i headcannon him as straight but he has been going with the others since their first year. Especially once akaashi came around and he wanted akaashi to be able to have fun, so he assumes the role of taking care of everyone for the day. I think that every year, Bokuto, Saru, and Komi get him one of those shirts that says like ‘I’m a heterosexual, christian, mom who loves her gay children’ and everyone who comes with them signs the back of it.

Saru:

I base his personality 99% on his stageplay actor so if you want to understand what im talking about just look up matsunami yuuki on youtube.

He is gay and he goes all out. Hes the last single one out of the fukurodani gays and is only very upset about it. He might work as a drag queen in the future to pay his university loans.

He wears a ruffley skirt where each ruffle is a different color and they make a rainbow. He wears black bike shorts under it for comfort and ease of motion (he likes to dance) his shirt is fairly loose and light. It is a black button up but the top 2 or 3 buttons are undone. He some how managed to tuck it into the skirt without causing weird wrinkles.

Komi:

He’s pan and is dating Yaku (was just introduced to this concept and am very here for it).

He wears pink jeans and yellow sneakers. His shirt is white and there is one thin stripe about chest height that is in the colors of the pan flag.

Kaori:

Lesbian

Dunno what’s up with me and ruffles but here we go again. Basically she wears long and flow-y pants that are ruffled in the colors of the lesbian pride flag. Like as they go down they go through each of the colors. She is wearing a cropped white cami top. She also did her make up in various shades of pink and to finish it off she had yukie put on lipstick and kiss her cheek so there was a mark.

Yukie:

Lesbian

Light wash jeans. White t-shirt french tucked. Her shirt is homemade. She had Kaori panit the lesbian pride flag on her hands and then the press them against her chest. She then had Akaashi embroider one handprint with ‘girls’ and the other with ‘only’. I’m sorry.

HQ Pride Headcannons Pt.2! Nekoma Edition!

I cant draw for shit but like designing clothes/outfits so ill do my best to describe them. I also ended up including random hcs and relationships.

Kuroo:

He’s a bi boy

In a surprising contrast to Bokuto he really doesn’t do too much. He’s honestly kinda awkward with the huge crowd of Tokyo pride. He says he just doesnt want to bring too much attention to kenma, but neither of them really want to draw too many eyes.

He wears black joggers but he has a single little ruffle that ombres from pink to purple to blue that wraps around his right leg. (Akaashi customized it for him)

I have this stupid idea that his shirt says ‘It’s a vBIe’ as a weird take on ‘It’s a vibe’ and everyone laughed when they saw it, but Bokuto was like??? What’s funny about this??? Because he totally didnt realize it was spelled wrong.

Kenma:

Aro/ace

He foolishly let yamamoto persuade him into temporarily dying his hair light green.

He’s wearing grey joggers and a black shirt that just says NO. The N is in the colors of the aro pride flag and the O is in the colors of the ace pride flag.

Fukunaga:

Nonbinary and still unsure how to define their sexuality.

Fukunaga just wears lightwash jeans (cuffed of course) and a black shirt that says THEY/THEM on it. I also think they wear a cute rainbow cat hair clip. Yamamoto definitely was the one who bought it for them.

Akane might have done a little makeup for them 👀

Fukunaga has to turn off their hearing aids sometimes because it gets too loud and they get overwhelmed, so in that case Yamamoto and Kenma translate their JSL. The rest of Nekoma knows basic signs, and are working on getting better, but Kenma and Yamamoto are the only ones who are almost completely fluent for them.

Slightly off topic but kenma and fukunaga as queerplatonic partners is peak content

Yamamoto:

Realized he liked Fukunaga two months ago because Kenma got tired of waiting for him to figure it out. They are now happily together, but Yamamoto is trying to decide if he identifies more as bi or pan.

That being said he has never half-assed anything before in his life and temporarily dyed his mohawk rainbow. He’s honestly such a softy so his shirt says Love is Love.

It is less of an issue when fukunaga is wearing a shirt with their pronouns on it, but Yamamoto is there and ready to correct anyone who messes up their pronouns and throw hands if it is necessary.

Yaku:

Trans and gay

‘Trans rights are human rights’ shirt. He’s got blue shorts and they have watermelon slices on them.

Because it is a lot of walking, Komi will give Yaku piggyback rides whenever his binder starts making it hard to breathe.

Yaku and Komi are 100% the ones who kiss in front of anti-pride protesters. They thrive on their cries.

Kai:

He’s straight and plays a similar role to Konoha where he just makes sure everyone is staying safe. He’s glad that he can do something to support his friends even if it is just stopping Shibayama from getting absorbed by the crowd and keeping Lev from running off.

Lev:

Gay

Did not realize he was supposed to dress up for pride. Showed up at Kuroo’s (where they all met to go together) in a Nekoma Boys Volleyball shirt and fucking cargo shorts or something. Yaku kicked him, but then proceeded to tie-dye that shirt real fast. Shibayama painted a rainbow on his cheek, so it ended okay... if you ignore the cargo shorts.

Shibayama kept getting lost in the crowd because he’s so short, and now Lev will not let go of him. He carried him on his shoulders for a bit, but it tired him out pretty quickly, so most of the time they just hold hands, or Lev will wrap an oversized arm around him.

Shibayama:

Pan

His shirt says ‘pan-tastic’ and no one can convince me otherwise, and no one on Nekoma had the heart to make fun of it so it just stayed. He has three hair clips, one blue, one yellow, and one pink that he wears. Yellow shorts. He’s got cat socks, but that is unrelated.

Inuoka:

Bi

Tie-dyed shirt in blue, pink, and purple. Black shorts. He also tie-dyed a pair of white converse and they look very cool.
