Heddeby (Haitabu). View from the old ringwall and impressions of some houses. Very nice museum.
Hedeby, Haitabu - the real location. No mountains, just flat - sorry history channel you are wrong. Nevertheless i love the show.
The museum is really interesting and worth visiting and they have a lot of good publications. Also Schleswig (Silaswich) is a nice little town worth visiting.
