I was gonna make a post about how somebody should reblog my art because im a gremlin and I need validation, but I was on mobile as usual and I can’t find the make a post buttons?? Like, they’re just not showing up no matter what way I scroll or stop. I swear for awhile there they set them at the top like F*cebook does, but they aren’t there either?  Had to come all the way over to desktop.

HEY LOOK ITS MY OWN ART!

Little late ya'll, but here's my art final from the first art class I've been able to schedule in college! There's certainly two major spots I had to rush because I didn't have enough time (I missed 1 out if the 3 classes we used on this piece), but I'm quite happy with it overall! The piece was based off the prompt to use a lot of animal textures, and I may have skirted the rules a bit unknowingly by sketching out a full idea rather that going straight from one part to another. In the end, it's not a piece I wouldn't have normally drawn, but I was dying to do this in acrylics instead the entire time.

The piece is done in graphite pencil, almost no smudge shading at all except in the foggy background and to help deepen the darkest parts, I prefer to use the pencil lightly and build it up. I don't mind the texture it gives, I'm fact I like it better that way. There are 7 animals in this creature: jack rabbit ears; wolf head; sheep ruff; lion paws; reptile belly; black buck hind, legs, and tail; and predator bird wings. My thoughts of this were of something you might see but shouldn't go looking for, that resides in some murky forest. There's a little easter egg you can see if you zoom in on the eye, as well!

I may work on it in the future to finish it up, and if I do I'll give ya'll an update. Thanks for the read, heart and reblogs are greatly appreciated!

Short story time,

I was in a Denny's last night and was sitting right below the tv. They went from playing Gordon Ramsey to The Exorcist and I just sat there thinking "this is family restaurant what the fresh hell, but then again, if I had to guess any family restaurant would play The Exorcist, Denny's would be it."

I think I'm Cosmically Incapable of getting A Fucking Break™️. I just spent my weekend with my 3rd viral infection in as many months, in which my only breaks from viruses were the TWO BACTERIAL INFECTIONS. I had a major organ infection! The second virus' symptoms were basically meningitis! This most recent virus could have progressed into temporary facial paralysis!

Germs love her, doctors fucking HATE her.

I think I may have a compromised immune system, guys.
