It's Birthday.
It's that time of the month where I'm getting emotional over Calliope's drawing of god tier Dirk again
She drew him smiling :(( she drew him with so much joy and whimsy. He's straight up scampering. His hand is on backwards but he doesn't give one shit. He's got his best friend in matching jammies and he is having SO much fun
does this technically count as AI art?
anyway. prototype for one of the models my sona transfers into. i think this model is a lot thicker and clunkier than the sleek designs that will be favoured later. later models become more focused on the disconnected triangle-and-orb deal going on with the ear, tail, claws and legs, whereas earlier models were like solid bricks.
there are only two real constants in the model designs: a triangle symbol somewhere (usually on the chest), and non-standard eyes (usually a screen of some kind that shows symbols, colours, etc rather than eyes).
the story here is after Hal integrates with his new android body, he experiences some a disconnect for a few months. His consciousness has to slowly boot into his new body. So he starts out with limited speech, knowledge of his name and some basics like that, and that Dirk created him. He develops a very affectionate attachment to Dirk.
After Hal regains full access to his memories, he still has the affection for Dirk and doesn't know how to actually talk about it. So he suffers alone at night, debating on holding Dirk's hand while Dirk sleeps.
