“dear radical and petty antis”
1) some radical antis overlapped she//th month by creating wlw month to push what the shaladins are doing away. radical and petty antis do stuff like that, like trying to create events of their own that overlap shaladins events or just skim through shaladin tags to purposefully start discourse and drama i don't really participate in art/writing events very much because i'm not much of either, and i tag my posts with anti tags and avoid all shaladin content, but if someone calls me out i'll calmly discuss it with them and ill try to keep a level head.
i hope that made sense ^^'
It does, actually! And thank you for taking the time to explain your views to me. The only thing that doesn’t make sense to me is that I don’t know what w|w month is;;;;;; I’ve been away from the internet for a while
Other than this though, is it okay to ask how you personally treat shaladins? And what do you do if it comes up irl? Do you just say “Hey I’m uncomfortable can we not talk about this”? Do you go to cons? How do you navigate fandom and make friends? Do you have any shaladin friends, and do you enjoy them? How do you feel about people like Barlee, someone who actually works on Voltron, liking Sheith art and supporting the ship? I was at AX this year and she was handing out That One Print, alongside the cute klance print where they’re both wearing formal wear and glasses.
I’m asking all these questions with the benefit of the doubt by the way. You seem very mature and if the way you’ve treated me is any indication, I’m sure you treat anyone who comes to you with respect equally so, if not better, since ngl I’ve got a bad track record with it. So I’m sorry if anything I’ve said comes off as insensitive, blunt, or rude, I tend to have issues with social awareness and being too blunt or straight forward/not being able to sense peoples feelings.
