i remember quite well when I started reading the last chapters of half lost,

this because I didn't want to read them

I knew what was coming, and not only because I read some time before some spoilers, but because books like that always end badly for the gays :(

I delayed the reading of the last chapters (just where Nathan covers Gabriel with his body from the bullets, knew it'd be there where the nightmare would start), til I thought I was ready (several weeks after)

Then I read it.

And again.

And again.

The same chapter.

Cried all the way to the very end. I got even sadder reading Nathan's depression and alusinations about Gabriel and then the damn end of the book. My eyes couldn't believe the last chapter from Ceelia's pov. Devastating.

Do I recommend the book? For its devastation, the heartbreaking, despicable, unworthy and unfair finale... Yes
