Half-illithid Race

Playing as a mind flayer has been a fantasy of mine for years now, but the unfortunate reality is that those things are too overpowered for a normal campaign. The clear solution is to mix it with a human, then, and the half-illithid is born! Maybe one day when I am part of a game I am not DMing I will see if I can play as one of these.
