Canon Divergence: 1) Cami lives. 2) The Hollow is defeated in Season 4. The Mikaelsons have lived in peace since. Nazi Vamps exist. 3) Ryan helps the Super Squad. Hope still becomes a Tribrid. Malivore is dead. Landon is safe.

okay so confession, i haven’t actually watched the originals yet (ikik im planning on it as soon as i finish tvd)

howeverrrr i liked both hayley and elijah in tvd, and so far i like the idea of them together (even though im a die-hard kalijah stan sksk)

my opinion might be skewed though because i literally love hayley so much and just want the best for her 🥺💞 my emotional support werewolf queen

Let me get this straight.

Hayley was a single parent for 7 years, 5 years of which she spent telling Hope that her father loved her even if he didn't show it.

She has to be a mother, an alpha and a faction leader to keep the peace and do damage control when her daughter creates a hybrid.

She then got kidnapped by some super racist vampires while under a sleeping and cloaking spell that her own daughter cast on her so that her dad would come home.

She then got tortured FOR ATLEAST 5 EPISODES and her crescent mark was ripped off her body so that Her tribrid daughter and her hybrid dad would submit to the whims of the Nazi vampire.

She then had her werewolf side binded so that she and her daughter could live. She loved her werewolf heritage and it was taken from her.

She later has to witness her daughter get knocked out. Her daughter's usually-not-helpless-Dad, her partner, become incapacitated by his OWN brother! THE MAN SHE LOVES!

SHE HAD TO WATCH THIS MAN SHE LOVES IGNORE HER AND LET HER BE KILLED BY THE NAZI VAMPIRE.

She had to watch this man ask after the nazi vampire's kid instead of his own niece, who he would have died for if he had his memories.

HIS NAME IS LITERALLY THE LAST THING SHE SAYS BEFORE SHE DECIDES TO SACRIFICE HER LIFE TO PROTECT HER DAUGHTER BY KILLING THE NAZI VAMPIRE.

The nazi didn't even die a bad death. It was clean and quick, so not what she deserved and not how most villains in this show die.

Not only were there so many loop holes but these characters have got out of worst situations in the past involving far worse villains than this! I mean Roman has that damned daylight ring, just take it and leave! And Come on Klaus! Now is the time you decide not to stake your brother! And GET STAKED IN THE BACK!

I'm not angry that they killed her. Characters die all the time in shows. It is HOW they killed her that's making me MAD. SHE WAS THE SHOWS MAIN FEMALE PROTAGONIST FOR FOUR SEASONS. SHE HAD THE MOST GROWTH OUT OF ALL THE CHARACTERS AND THIS IS HOW HER STORY ENDS.

WE ALL KNOW WHY SHE DIED! FOR KLAUS TO BECOME A TRUE FATHER, FOR ELIJAH'S GUILT(man pain) AND OBVIOUSLY FOR HOPE'S GROWTH (because finding out her mother died to save her and knowing that all this wouldn't have happened if she hadn't kidnapped her in the first place is EXACTLY the kind of growth she needs) THEY DID HER DIRTY AND THESE WRITERS TALK ABOUT HOW THEY ARE SUCH GREAT FEMINISTS.

NOT ONLY WAS THIS ONE OF THE MOST PATHETIC WRITINGS I'VE EVER WITNESSED BUT IT WAS ALSO ONE OF THE WORST WAYS TO SEND OFF A BELOVED MAIN CHARACTER...OOPS SORRY... I MEANT GUEST STAR OF S5.
