SO this is a REALLY random and very specific thing I don’t like and do not get but you know we are going to talk about it since you said anything XD

IIIIII REAAAAALLLY don’t like two different patterns with Mccree.

1) Chubby Mccree2) “Depressing” Mccree

1) OK like I said these two are just kinda...pet peeves of mine--aesthetic things that don’t please me

The first is this really...strange idea that Jesse is like...chubby or...has weight on him or...doesn’t have muscle especially in his stomach. I’m sure everyone has seen one or two and I...really don’t get it.

AND I’M NOT FAT SHAMING I’m just saying I don’t get why the style is so popular. The body style is cute on some art that I’ve seen but some people I’ve seen posts where they talk about how awesome “chubby” Mccree is almost as if its canon when you CANNOT convince me that man isn’t fit if he’s doing combat rolls and running on trains.

And I know its a strange thing “not to like” but it just confuses me. I don’t get the appeal of it I just think its OOC. But--like with everything I say its an opinion and you can like chubby Jesse if you want XD

2) This one is a little more serious with me and its specifically about this post thats been urking me for quite some time in terms of Mccree which went something like:

Fandom Mccree: Funloving, happy man dressed as a cowboy yippee ki yay

Canon Mccree: Alcoholism, ptsd, depression, anxiety, [INSERT EVERY MENTAL DISEASe EvER} 

Um--ExCOOse?

Ok ok ok ok ok let me explain briefly.

I DON’T CARE if Mccree RPers put these traits on him because that is YOUR interpretation. You can reasonably look at his backstory and gleen some kind of reason for him to have especially ptsd and anxiety.

But don’t you DARE start putting these labels on him and ADDRESS IT AS CANON. Jesse does NOT have these things in canon and I know people are gonna be: “BUT Silver--he’s DRUNK in the Christmas Comic!”

Yeah Yeah that makes about as much sense as saying Hanzo’s an alcoholic cuz he carries a bottle of sake around. 

Jesse joined Blackwatch because he was basically forced to, yes, but he also decided to pull himself from his criminal ways and find solace in dealing justice to those who he once followed. He LEFT Blackwatch when they decided to turn against Overwatch because he aint having that shit.

People like to make him all “edgy” and dark like Reaper--just because Gabriel trained him--but if you listen to their interactions you know that spite that Jesse has for Reaper because of what has transpired. Jesse is someone who is hardheaded, strong and capable in his own ways.

I understand if some people want to make him “deeper” than just a silly cowboy but he already has a lot of depth as a POSITIVE character. 

It bothers me when people take characters who are clearly supposed to be enlightening and make them into some depressing person “on this inside--its all just a mask” yeah yeah

OK rant over about that.
