On his way home from a mandatory grocery shopping tour, a huge stray dog startled the heck out of Sou. Luckily, the loudly belling animal just passed by and didn’t target him, but it did seem quite angry. Phew, that was scary...

Well, nothing too unusual, even if it was kind of sad, strays weren’t anything unusual in these streets around here. But as fate so often wanted for him despite his wishes, the usual soon turned into something uncommon. Or more like, he walked into someone unexpected.

“Heine, is that you...?” 

It definitely was. Not only was he too unique looking to mistake for anyone else, but much like their last encounter, he was bleeding again... This time it seemed to be an injury on his arm? For a moment, Sou wondered if that big dog that just passed through, may have done that. And even though the other seemed unbothered by his wound, Sou couldn’t help but worry a little:

“What happened to you!? Uh... I know the last time your wounds healed abnormally fast, but don’t you still want to get that checked up? One day you’ll catch an infection like this, you know?”

People come and go, entire lives are upended by memories that don’t technically belong to you but another you, and Badou still doesn’t hurry anywhere unless he’s being chased by thugs. He meanders down the street casually, like it’s just another day and he has nowhere to be. 

When he saunters into the arcade it’s loud as usual, various games beeping and pewing and shouting kids and some adults as the backdrop. Even when it’s in the middle of the day like this there’s still a seedy, yet comforting, darkness about the arcade, of course ruined by all the blinking lights from the games. 

And there by the coin machine is a familiar head of white hair, tinged blue by the light of a nearby game. This is nostalgic.

“Yo!” He greets succinctly.

It’s a strange feeling, to fight with his hands like this; something he isn’t used to, yet feels right in this annoying, new form. With one fell sweep of his claws, Kurogane easily disengages a monster set out in front of him; grinning as he watches it stagger backwards in an attempt to collect itself. 

Monster hunting for cash was entirely familiar to the ninja, as so proven in the confidence which moved his body. As he went in to finish the beast, a quick flash of something dark ran past him; taking his kill in the same manner of fighting in which Kurogane had began.

“Oi! That one was mine, asshole.” 

“You’re a wolf too, huh? Watch it, or I’ll be goin’ after you next instead of these ugly things.”

            THE   forest just beyond her ‘home’ was rife with fae folk. It was a startling surprise the first time she heard their tinkling laughter as she waded through the greenery, but perhaps more surprising was how little they interfered with her. Aelin supposes even in this topsy-turvy place, so far removed from Erilea, they can smell the fae on her. She may lack her true form, the pointed ears and sharp teeth... But the blood of Terrasen runs in her veins all the same. 

               Perhaps that’s why she finds it a little more amusing when others fall into pitfalls that seem blatantly obvious to her. She observes the man in silence for a few moments, watching him grumble and fume. Even if her heightened hearing couldn’t pick out the words, it was easy to see he’d been misled once or twice. ... Or five times. 

        ❝   You haven’t been trying to follow them, have you ?  The fae folk ?  You may as well have given them your name, if so.   ❞  Of course, if his temper proved amusing enough for them, it’s entirely possible they’d be trying much more complex tricks than a simple misdirection...

does your muse believe in luck or fortune ?  why or why not ?   where do they believe these things come from ?  

Yes sort of, but he doesn’t think it’s some magical instance. He’s not the type that’d count probability percentages either (idk if he knows how even lol) but all in all it’s just .... a chance whether something will happen  or not. Some times chances are bigger etc. 

There’s a  reason  for everything he says so he’d think it’s just likelihood factors of the situation like ...idk if say target moves or won’t move or smth.

how does your muse handle grief ?

Badly. He’s more likely to push it aside than take it head on. It’s not that he pushes them aside like.. consciously, it’s more like automatically he doesn’t put them chokehold it’s just that it has become easier to do that within many many years.

To be fair I’m not sure he handles it at all. Since he’s so  out of touch with others it’s unlikely he’s going to feel  it. After all what is there to grieve if he has nothing in the first place?

 how does your muse respond to betrayal ?

Ogata doesn’t really trust others. He’s been ...sorta? betrayed not similarly as he’s betrayed others and frankly I wonder if he ever expected something out of Tsurumi. I can see it as possible but it’s hard to confirm. He knows Tsurumi is using and manipulating vulnerable people under the guise of “love” and so on. In the end Tsurumi’s love is just conditional, blind faith is the ideal form of it, Usami being like the personification of that. 

And Ogata abhors it. But then ...... I don’t know what I’m getting at anymore. Uh. 

I guess he half-expects it, if someone manages to get his trust and betrays him he’s just “well, that’s on me for believing it”. He’ll feel resentment and will likely try to kill the person who betrayed him though lol. He won’t go on lecture, he wont even say anything. 

People who he didn’t trust to begin with betrayin him doesn’t really mean anything to him, it’s just normal lol. A lot of it depends on situation though.
