I wanted to revisit this old Ham Egg from 2016 since it’ll turn 10(!!?) this year.

At the time I wasn’t really happy because I didn’t think I captured him correctly. I still don’t think it’s totally right but I wanted to filter him through “my style” at least a little 🤷🏻🍳

A large gathering of Tezuka star system characters osamu tezuka's 1954 new years card.

I love the 1954 Tezuka Osamu Star System New Year's card that was featured in the January issue of Manga Shonen.

It features a lineup of popular works such as Astro Boy, Jungle Emperor Leo, Princess Knight, and Boku no Son Goku.

I love how all the characters have lively expressions. I think the differences in each character's facial expressions are very subtle.

In the star system-like composition, Duke Red and Notaarin are next to each other in the center, the boy detectives Rock and Kenichi are next to each other with their arms around each other's shoulders, and Leo's son Lune from Jungle Emperor Leo is on the run.

Also present are saboten kun(Cactus Sam),Gucchan, Mii-chan from Lost World, and the mermaid Pipi-chan.
