Dororo (Ep 9)

The tale of Dororo’s Mother.

Hibukuro (Boon), along with and Ojiya and Itachi (Ham Egg).

Dororo's parents, Hibukuro and Ojiya, were once farmers who now lead a band of bandits who target samurai.

Meanwhile, Uncle Itachi has plans of his own.

DID YOU KNOW? In the manga Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run, there’s a moment in Diego’s backstory which is a homage to Osamu Tezuka’s Dororo. Diego’s mother accepts hot porridge with her bare hands to feed her son with, just like what Dororo’s mother did.
