Fighting for What’s Right
Requested by Anonymous (I think?)
Could you do one where the female reader is friends with the squad and basically pulled a mulan and dressed as a boy to fight in the war and they either find out she's a girl or already know and are really protective idk
“Adam, get in here, you’re going to catch a cold!” Hercules scolds, ushering you inside the tent you shared with Hamilton and his group of merry men.
You’d chosen Adam as your male name so that you could serve in the war. Women weren’t allowed and you just want to make a difference by fighting for your country. You’d made friends with Alexander, John, Hercules and Lafayette in a bar; they instantly took a liking to you.
“I’ll be there in a second, Herc,” you mutter, stirring the dirt in front of you around with a stick out of boredom.
It has quickly become hard to hide from the men, but you’re doing what you have to.
You adjust the blanket around your shoulders, wincing as a pain ebbs in your thigh. You groan as a result, falling forward and going unconscious.
-
“What happened?”
“Get his clothes off now. We need to see what’s wrong.”
“My god.”
You can hear their voices, but your eyes are still closed. You’ve no clue where you are, but the sudden chill of the air on your body shocks you awake.
Upon looking down, all of your clothes are gone save for your undergarments. Unfortunately, men don’t wear bras, and all the people in the tent just witnessed your secret.
You quickly glance around, fear glazed over the sensible side of your brain. They’ll kill you, a woman, for interfering with the job of a man. The only people around you are your friends, which only amplifies your fear. These men saw you as an ally, what will they think of you now?
“I am so sorry. I only did this to stand up for what I believe in,” you stutter, shivering from the cold.
The thin material of a blanket gets placed on your shoulders by Lafayette. He offers a reassuring smile before Alexander speaks.
“You’re here for the same reason we are. Nothing will change that.”
You nod, pulling the wool tighter around you.
“You won’t tell Washington, will you?” You inquire nervously, peering up at all of your friends.
“No, we won’t. You’re our friend,” John announces, folding his arms over his chest.
“Is your name really Adam, mon amie?” Laf asks, raising an inquisitive eyebrow.
You shake your head, suddenly feeling shy in front of them.
“It’s Y/n,” you halfway whisper, unsure as if anyone is listening outside. There could have been enough commotion to alert the general or other officers.
“It’s nice to meet you, Y/n,” Alexander says, bowing jokingly.
You and the rest of the group laugh, knowing full well that this new revelation would never change the fact that you had each others backs.
The genderbent ham squad is amaziiinngggg By ate @aizy-boy (Don't mind me posting here ateeeeee😂) EH-HUE!!lol
Someone Has a Crush
Requested by Anonymous
Could you write a Lafayette x reader where the hamilsquad is trying to convince him to just ask her (reader) out and the reader has a crush on him but is too shy to tell him. Thank you! Much love 💙
“You’re staring, again, dude.”
Laf jumps as someone places their hand on his shoulder. He groans, pulling away.
“No, I’m not.”
John’s boisterous laugh can still be heard even as he walks away.
He thinks he’s finally alone. Laf can’t help watching you, but he would never admit it to his friends. Their endless teasing would increase tenfold.
“You’re starting to seem like a creep, bro,” Hercules chuckles, taking a seat next to the Frenchman. He hands Laf a drink, taking a sip of his own.
The amber-colored liquid burns down Lafayette’s throat, but he doesn’t even register it.
“I don’t know what to do, Herc. She’s just so beautiful.”
Hercules glances behind his friend, snickering quietly into his glass.
“Why don’t you go and ask her out?” A higher-pitched voice interjects behind Laf and he sighs.
Alexander comes into view, sitting on the other side of the french soldier.
“I don’t want to freak her out. She thinks of me as a friend.”
“She definitely does not think of you as a friend,” John walks up to his friends; his comment earning a sputtering laugh from the others.
“What do you mean?” Laf is intrigued now, pushing for more information.
Alex leans across the table, clearly tipsy from the alcohol, whispering, “I’ve heard her and Eliza talking before. She’s got a huge crush on you.”
“I’ve been acting like a love-struck idiot and she feels the same way?”
All three men agree with simple nods.
“My God, fine,” Laf huffs, pushing his chair back and standing up. The trek over to you goes in painfully slow motion. Lafayette’s heart is beating ten times its normal speed and he’s got a lump in his throat.
“Ladies,” the french man speaks, catching the attention of you and your friends.
“What’s up, Laf?” Eliza asks, nudging you with her leg under the table. You fight back the urge to call her out right then and there.
“I’d like to speak with Y/n, actually.”
You raise an eyebrow, smiling up at the man. The gazes of Eliza and Angelica are practically burning holes in the back of your head as you stand up. Lafayette leads you over to a more secluded area of the bar, his hand leading you along.
You can help noticing that he doesn’t let go.
“Y/n, I was wondering if you would like to go to dinner with me tomorrow night. As a date, preferably,” Laf almost says the words so fast that you can’t understand them, but fortunately, you do.
“I’d love to,” you answer with a huge grin as he pulls you into an embrace.
It’s hard not to be distracted by the hoots and hollers of yours and his friends.
Movie Night w/ The Squad
Requested by @evermaeboogerr (actually years ago probably)
I love your Lafayette x reader imagines! But can you do a Lafayette x reader and they're with the Hamil-squad and they have like a movie night. And reader ends up falling asleep on Lafayette.
“Movie night, begins, boys,” you smile excitedly, allowing the men to enter your house. It is a regular thing for you and the squad to meet up, mainly so you all can introduce Laf to American culture, aka comedies.
You’ve had a crush on the Frenchman for gosh knows how long. His curiosity and naivety of movies only furthering your feelings for him.
It’s late, the popcorn is ready and so are all of your friends.
“What’s on the roster today?” Alex asks, sighing as Herc and John are already rushing over to grab a seat.
“I was thinking about Happy Gilmore. It’ll be fun to explain the jokes to Laf,” you snicker, earning a “Hey” from the man you’d referenced.
“I take, what’s the word? Oh, offense. I take offense to that.”
You roll your eyes, laughter already bubbling up inside of you.
Alex follows your lead, chuckling as he finds a spot on a bean bag chair. The only spots left are on the loveseat, the smallest couch in the room. Herc and John take up the whole couch and you groan at their childishness.
“Gonna be greedy with the popcorn, too?” You tease, taking a seat on the open sofa. Laf comes up next to you, plopping down into the last available spot.
“Ready?” You ask, finger on the play button.
“Let’s get this thing started!” John cheers, tossing popcorn at Alex who hushes him. Those two are such troublemakers. Oh, who’re you kidding, all four of them are.
The movie goes along with little to no interruptions, aside from a few snide comments from the peanut gallery and explaining the jokes to Laf.
You don’t know when you started getting tired, but the last thing you remember is Bob Barker tackling Adam Sandler’s character.
You yawn, leaning against the closest pillow-like thing, which happens to be Laf’s shoulder. He glances down at you with a small grin, before turning back to the movie.
He can’t exactly focus on it, though.
😂
