So I went to the local game shop yesterday to see if they had physical printings of an RPG I wanted to get. My dad went with me because he wanted to get the 5th Edition Dungeon Master’s Guide. So we sorta separate for a second, he runs over to the WotC section while I check out the dedicated indie game shelf. Sadly, it wasn’t there, so I went back to my dad, shrugged, and said “Ah, no dice.”

And without fucking hesitating dad just smiles at me and says, “But did you find the book?”
