Zukka hand headcanons

I've seen hand hadcanons posts quite a bit frequently so I thought I'd try it out.

I'll probably do the rest of the gaang + azula and her girlies cause this was simple and really fun to do.

Explanations for certain details and headcanons + variations ↓

Sokka

- Thick, kind of pudgy fingers and a wide palm (im not sure if that makes sense)

- I gave him a friendship bracelet, everyone in the gaang has them, I can see aang and katara, maybe suki making them for everyone and acting completely devastated whenever they see someone not wearing it.

- I like the thought of suki and sokka doing eachothers nails and gossiping about random stuff.

- I feel like he would buy a lot of little trinkets especially rings, I think he would own a lot and wear a lot of them sometimes together although they don't really match or go together.

- some random scars from tinkering or training

- An ivory bracelet, I'm pretty sure most Inuit jewellery is made from ivory, it is also kind of a blatant rip off of sokkas canon choker (i saw a tumblr post by @atlaculture mentioning that sokkas choker could just be a braclet hes put around his neck cause in Inuit culture necklaces are typically looser fitting and his choker is idential to traditional Inupiat braclets, maybe he finally grew into it)

- A leather band (this dosent really have any specific headcanons behind it i just thought it felt like something he would wear)

Zuko

-Thin long fingers, maybe slightly knobby

- lightning scars from where he attempted to redirect Azulas lightning during the agni kai

(Slight cw for very brief mention of scars from s/h and abuse in just this line)

-Some scars around the wrist from ozai and some from himself

- Friendship Braclet ™ once again

- A jade bangle, in China jade bangles are said to protect the wearer and bring good luck. More traditionally they're given by mothers or grandmothers but I can see Iroh giving it to him cause I think in atla verse people would wear it for protection from spirits more significantly also because gifting someone a jade bangle can represent deep affection which is why they're mainly gifted by family members or lovers. (I feel like zuko would at first not wear it cause he thinks it will distract him also cause theyre known for being a bitch to put on, but he'd feel quilty not wearing it especially when iroh asks him about it.) It took 4 hours with the help of suki, sokka, ty lee and a bunch of oil but eventually it was around his wrist.

- a chronic nail biter, he'd probably start doing it more after the war when dealing with stressful diplomats and nobles. It's not that noticeable but there's a kind of sheen on his nails from that type of nail polish some people wear that taste really bad to stop them from biting their nails.

- I have a headcanon that after the war zuko found a box of his mums old jewellery which are what the rings are for.

Death (HaND) x Shy and Sweet s/o

Death will definitely hold his s/o’s hand whenever they feel nervous or shy in front of others

After a long day of work (every day, obviously) Death’s s/o always knows exactly how to comfort him, whether it be just listening to him talk or providing words of encouragement

No Sorrow will ever tease or harass Death’s s/o, especially if it’s concerning their timid nature. Death will be right there to protect his lover.

Death doesn’t really pay much attention to the ball joints his partner has; resembling a doll doesn’t take away from their beauty/handsomeness

Though, occasionally, Death will gently caress the joints/arms of his s/o (this is very rare)

Seeing his s/o show kindness to others always makes him a bit happier during the day

Sometimes, Death becomes shocked by his s/o’s kind words and patience towards him; a relationship is still something that confuses him.

Sirius

Painted nails

very pretty

Long fingers not very thick

They remind him of his mother sometimes

James

Big.

Rough.

He is quidditch obsessed and quidditch brooms are made out of wood there are splinters and there are calluses.

It's how it is.

A little veiny but not as much as Remus

He doesn't take care of his hands but he'll let his mother and Lily do it for him

A single ring at a time. Always gold. Never silver. (I know the photo reference has silver)

Not really a part of his hand but has a really nice watch that he wears backwards on purpose and it drives Sirius and Lily insane

Lily

Soft but not from a lack of work

She believes in self care

Trimmed nails, taking care of cuticles, clear gloss top coat.

Smells like vanilla scented hand sanitizer 24/7

W-What are you doing ?!”- But they tell him that he has good hands and he gulps before scratching his head- “Hm… Whatever……” - Silence- “You have good hands too, you know…”- Tsundere MarimoCrocodile:- The man blinks the moment his lover takes his hands and kisses them, saying he has good hands- “What ? How can I have good hands, I’m a criminal… Kuhahaha!”- His s/o starts pouting because they don’t like the fact that he is making fun of them- Crocodile looks at them and smiles a little before raising one of their hands to his mouth, kissing it - “You know that, between me and you, you’re the one that has the best hands, my love.”Thatch:- He is very happy the moment they kiss his hands and say that they are good because he is a cook and he has obviously good hands- But he likes the face they make when he teases them about what they just say- “Are you talking about my skills in bed ?” ( ͝סּ ͜ʖ͡סּ)- They blush and yell that he is just a pervert and that he knows they didn’t mean it that way- He can’t stop laughing because they are so cute- “I know, I know! Hands Headcanon

rudemtnlsbn asked an interesting question to yyhfanfiction about hands and how Kurama himself would feel about SFW hand-play (or how Kurama would feel about his hand being touched). I wanted to think about this and so I’m gonna throw in my two cents into the mix. Will focus on main four for now, then tomorrow I’ll have the girls in a part 2, and other characters in part 3.

So here are my headcanons for the main boys on their s/o playing with their hands.

Yusuke: Will think you’re a weirdo at first. “You want my hand so badly, why don’t you just hold it already? . . . Does it look like my hand is a carnival? What;s so fun about playing with my fingers? You know I can shoot you dead with one?” Once he gets those jokes out, he’ll get used to you fiddling with his fingers. “So when did you acquire this hand kink? Or were you just born with it?” He’ll like it if you massage his hands. “Yeah, hit that sweet spot, make my hand so relaxed we put palm readers out of business.” But he won’t do the same to you, even if you don’t mind your hands played with, because it’s not his thing, he’s rather fiddle with your other body parts.

Kuwabara: He can either be chill about it or raise an eyebrow at you. If you want him to be chill, hold his hand first, and then slowly start playing with his fingers. Don’t mess with the skin between them, it’s ticklish. Start of playing with his hands, and he’s gonna raise that brow. “uh, what are you doing? Can you stop that? It’s kind of weird. It feels funny.” The more it’s done to him, the more he’ll get used to it regardless. The closer you are as a couple, the more it’ll start feeling natural, and if he’s able to really think, he’d feel like it’s one of those underrated, intimate moments couples share with another.

Kurama: yyhfanfiction makes valid points in their reply. I agree that if super close, Kurama wouldn’t mind his hands being fiddled with. After all, this person is no threat and will never be a threat. He can assest the situation and read people with ease. That being said. I don’t think he’d like hand play at all. I think that, as open minded he can be. It’s one of those things that feels unwelcomed. No one should know his body better than himself, and hand playing involves exploration of the fingers, their joints, where their wrinkles are, even if the one playing with the hands aren’t looking for that in particular, it’s something that Kurama is going to nope out of. Hand holding is fine, finger entwining is fine, but legit playing with his hand to your content, nu huh honey. “I know you insist on playing with my palms, but it’s not something I particularly enjoy you doing to me. I feel like some of it would do with his past life, most is that no one should know his own body more than him, and a bit is that, it does truly feel foreign to him. 

Hiei: He’s going to pull his hand away from you. “What the hell, do you think you’re doing?” He’s going to do that quite often. Explain why you like playing with hands, and depending on how close you guys are, he’ll either glare at you. “Try that again, and you won’t have any hands yourself.” Or he’s gonna scoff and hold his hands to you. “I don’t know why you’re so interested in these scarred up fingers, but you want to play with them so badly, be my guest. I don’t really care either way.” He’s not one for physical contact, if he even presents his palms to you, what is your secret? Again, not for physical contact, so don’t play with them for too long because he’ll decide your time.  If you’re really, super duper close, I’m talking about Hiei feels like he’s your mate for life close. He’ll fall asleep while you play with them. Like Yusuke, it oddly relaxes him, light massages here and there are fine if he’s slumbering. His hands are scarred with nits and poorly healed areas and drier than his sense of humor. They may not be the most fun to play with texture wise, and those famous bandages can get in the way. If his hands are naked, use this time to put lotion on his naked hand, quickly, before he wakes.

Brad headcanons?

Anyway-

He has a desk full of fidget toys and little things, especially tech decks (is that what they’re called?)

He flaps his wings when excited, but tries to hide it

Runs around in circles to get energy out

Uses so many acronyms in his posts, it’s barely understandable

Tags literally have every thought inside his mind, he just talks on and on in the tags of his posts

Has ten of the same exact shirt in his closet

ADHD coded (I know it’s random but I feel it in my soul-)

Always tries to get a selfie with Death. Hardly ever works

Alrighty!

Sometimes, Maxxx has days where he curls up into a ball and never leaves his office

The loneliness gets to him

Acts a bit haywire when he’s anxious and there’s no drugs around (rarely happens, but he’s completely out of control when it does)

Maxxx hugs himself when he’s feeling alone or hollow, and pretends that he’s being hugged by someone he loves

Often gets withdrawals when others convince him to stop doing drugs; his withdrawals are horrible.
