So I’m watching this week’s The Rookie, and apparently the crook of the week is a RWBY fan, given that he has a set of Ruby’s bluetooth headphones.
I recognized them because I have the same set.

To sum it up, I think it's really lame. The way that they both met offscreen, most of the hand off is taken up by the both of them nodding at each other, and Shugoddam looks a lot more fake than it does in the show. It doesn't convey the "I'll take care of this for the next year" feeling at all, it feels like two friends casually meeting. Thankfully it didn't mean anything bad for hand offs, since the next two were both great. But overall, I think it's a complete failure of a hand off, and the Donbrothers final episode director's cut is the better version of the episode for not having it
