Last year I decided to fuse two of my passions as a graphic designer—Arabic/Urdu/English lettering and henna designs. This became a passion project series which I call "Hand-lettered Henna." The words are meaningful and inspirational, embedded in unique and ornate henna art. My goal is to shed light on the beautiful, rich culture and language of the Indian subcontinent and Middle East using traditional henna art. I hope that this can evolve to something that is wearable and serves as a reminder of the overlapping of cultures and traditions with a modern touch.
