Next up, more Wolf’s Rain production sketches, from Episode 29, High Tide, High Time. Ugh, it’s still so hard to rewatch the last few episodes from this anime without getting all emotional, after all these years. I believe the two sheets of Blue, Hige and Hubb are just more refined versions from the same shot. The first page with more detail has Blue and Hige on the front (but opposite side compared to the actual scene), and a better drawn Hubb on the back, which you can kinda see through the scans in the first two images. The third scan is that scene, with all 3 of them in the correct placement and the same side of the paper, but a little less polished. This scene came after Toboe’s death, and Tsume telling the group to give him a minute and go on ahead without him:
