Originally acquired this guy in 2010, he was a Volks NEO EB-Body with Custom Hair Head. At some point I decided to attempt inset eyes and things did not go well for him.

Last year I decided to fix him up properly, thinking I'd get the same head again but just paint the eyes on this time. The bad news is Volks no longer seem to be producing these heads and I couldn't find one within my budget. The good news is the AliExpress algorithms have me figured out and this YL YG03 head came with the eyes already inset so I couldn't ruin him again.

Between essays he became my procrastination task with a freshly painted face and hot-glue base wig. By the time I graduated in December he was back on display looking much more presentable.

Although I still can't bring myself to throw out the old head, so that's gone back into storage.
