Hello everyone and hope you’ve had a great weekend. Today I’m doing my final @resinbynatalie appreciation post and more specifically, showing off the final bookmark she made me to compliment my favourite books. This bookmark was made to appreciate the gorgeous Hamnet by Maggie O’Farrell which was one of my favourite books of last year and won the Women’s Prize for Fiction 2020. Natalie has captured all the colours of the book beautifully in this bookmark and I was also delighted to be able to choose my own design after she sent me a number of ideas. I highly recommend you check out her page and Etsy shop as her work is so creative and gorgeous. I’ll certainly be putting in more orders soon. Hello everyone, welcome to the third and penultimate @resinbynatalie appreciation post! Last week I shared my copy of Girl, Woman, Other and the accompanying matching bookmark. Today it’s the turn of Betty by Tiffany McDaniel, one of my favourite books of last year (and all time favourite book) with a bookmark that Natalie prepared to match it. Betty is a wonderful, powerful read but it’s also devastating so even though I highly recommend it, it does come with some trigger warnings. For me, it was a book I’ll never forget and am hoping to re-read again soon so I can once again experience all those emotions it brought out in me first time round. It was also lovely to see some designs that Natalie was thinking about before making this bookmark and it was amazing that I got to choose what I wanted the final product to look like. It’s a really personal touch and one of the many things that makes ordering one of these bookmarks such an incredible experience!
