The hair ask reminded me of this photo. Since you said he’s growing his hair out for the sequel (omg you are thinking about the sequel 🥹), for me this is future hands!Buck, maybe on their pizza date they are going on after they are free. His hair is longer but since he’s taking his girl on a first date, he brushed it and he shaved to look good, even put on a nice shirt maybe. Did he get her flowers, too?

The pizza date is going to be very casual. It’s a 24 hour joint in a college town, so sweats and hoodies are more appropriate lol. Perfect for when they roll into town after a long drive 😌 I am hoping to do a little epilogue-type blurb for that.

But THIS handsome, cleaned-up dude… he’s giving me Valentines Day vibes. He’s got a little something planned*, and you know he’s gonna do his best to make it special. Neat hair, clean shaven, absolutely wearing a nice button down shirt. But comfortable shoes. There’s gonna be a lot of walking 🤔

Hey I was just wondering how did you image yhhmsgm!Buck's long hair? Because for me at first I thought it was like caatws bucky but then I realised we legit have him with long hair in every film💀 and some films it looks for luscious than others👀

As with most things related to this series, I have put wayyy too much thought into this lmao 😭

Overall, this era Seb is hands Bucky. A little on the thicc side, comfy sweaters, moderately long hair. Hair tie. HOWEVER!!! He’s shit at taking care of his hair in the beginning of the story, so I’m picturing like that combined with tws hair to start.

A bit tangled and messy until the reader helps him. She puts it in two french braids in chapter… 3, I think? But only to harass him lmao. It’s not long enough to actually tie off and stay like that.

And for some cruel and unfair reason, men’s hair seems to grow really fast.

So by like mid-autumn, we’re here ⬆️ before reader helps him cut it in chapter 16. After the cut, he’s here ⬇️

But it grows back pretty quickly, and for the finale at the end of December it’s about this length:

And I do miss the long hair… so it’ll grow out again in the sequel.

Am I insane for all this? Yes. Am I at least having fun? Also yes.

hi! i need to know... what does bucky think about choking/getting choked? i know bc of his trauma he may be "against" that but honestly i would literally evaporate if he has that kink with reader.

So, I would also evaporate for that, buuut the trauma makes choking a hard no. He has nightmares about choking his friends and feeling their throats collapse in his grip. Not gonna happen in bed 😅

However… being choked? He can get on board with that. (If you want to skip past the significant whumpy bits in that chapter, the smut section starts with “Back in the apartment, Bucky couldn’t seem to settle down.”)
