As much as I loved Xiao Zhan’s portrayal of Wei Wuxian in The Untamed, WWX’s Yiling Laozu form in the donghua and manhua was just epic!

omg i m glad you asked, i ll now proceed to fangirl like crazy so brace yourself.

so one of my absolute, all time favorite slow burn authors is Mariana Zapata, like i love, love, loveeeee her writing. she writes these amazing romcom stories that are sprinkled with just the right amount of soft angst to make you feel and connect without really crushing you. But what seals the deal for me is her humor (it’s PERFECT) istg i keep laughing out loud all the time when i read her novels and my mom’s like “are you okayyy??” also the novels usually end with one good smut scene after all that pining and slow burn and it’s just...her books are live a seven course meal? you feel full and sated when you reaad em.

but nywho I am reading her novel “Handsdown” (pretty good so far) but my favorite novel of hers & just my favorite in general is “The Wall Of Winnipeg and Me” it is LITERALLY PERFECT. A MASTERPIECE. 100/10. *chefs kiss*)
