my case with this is quite complicated actually (bc i grew up around koreans), but when if we're specifically looking for the time when the term k-pop was popularized, i'd say nobody by wonder girls <3

i'd say nobody by wonder girls as well! but during the time i actually got into k-pop one of the first songs i liked was tonight by big bang (idk how i feel abt this now... i was 11/12 years old then lol)

13. your overall favourite concept

i don't really have a favorite!! i feel like i'm cheating with this, but i'm just an indecisive person when it comes to things like this, lol. but if i had to absolutely choose i tend to gravitate towards techy shit (like HIT and bp's how u like that teasers)
